We have given this restaurant so many chances to change our opinion, but today we decided it’s over. They are already on the pricey side, so when you get a pizza that the entire edge is inedible because it so over cooked, then every time we pay for extra cheese but don’t even get regular amounts of cheese. I even told the cashier this has been an ongoing problem and it still happened. Then the gluten free / cauliflower pizza has every time been burnt black and cooked to a crisp like a cracker. It’s horrible, but for the amount of money I feel like I need to leave a review, otherwise I really don’t like being so negative.

2025: First time at this location. It was very good. Really liked the Cauliflower Crust it was thin and crispy and cooked perfectly brown. We will definitely return when in the area. Abigail was very attentive with drink refills.

We ordered a pepperoni and sausage pizza with cheese bread at 5pm online for a 7pm pickup. We had to wait 40 minutes after we arrived at 7pm. The pizza was awful. There was one piece of pepperoni and one piece of sausage on each slice, some slices were cheese only. Pretty much a cheese pizza. The cheese bread was bread, no cheese and burnt on the bottom. We come to this location often, probably once a month. Last night we came in around 8:00 and were seated quickly. Our server was super nice and helpful. We tried the meatball appetizer for a change and loved it! Our entrees were nice and hot. We love coming here, it’s our favorite pizza spot!

Ordered a Joe’s Special pizza. While it was a tad overdone… overall it was pretty good. Our server, Tony, was very respectful and courteous. He was a great server!!

Awesome pizza had the home town special. Also kids jad a chesse pizza the really enjoyed. Sweat tea was to strong give it a 3 out of 10. But overall great experience

I just did an online order for Mother’s Day. I ordered 2 large pizzas, extra marinara and garlic sauce along with a large cheese stick. Placed the order an hour prior to 4:45 pm pick up time. 10 minutes later I placed another order for a small individual pizza as soon as we pull into the parking lot at 4:47 PM. I get a text saying the small pizza is ready. The cashier, Addy states it will be a minute for the other pizzas to sit down or go back to our car while we wait. After a 15 minute wait., we go back to counter, She says what’s your name again and lo and behold… Our order is waiting on top of the oven just like it was when we walked in. We did not know that was our order. She completely overlooked it. There were no sauces in any of the boxes because we double checked, and then she proceeds to bring the regular amount that comes automatically and I had to ask for the additional sources that I had paid for. Not happy at all with the service this time around. We love Hometown pizza, but today instigated a bad review that I have never done. Frustrating to say the least on Mothers Day.

I do a carryout least once a week. Friendly staff & helpful. Pizza always hot & delicious. We have a celiac family member and they never have a problem when eating g their GF pizza crust with ham.
