If you’re looking for an all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi experience that goes beyond the typical buffet, Sumo Sushi & Grill AYCE is definitely worth a visit for lunch. Their system of ordering five dishes at a time from a diverse menu, with the option to order more every 15 minutes, keeps the food fresh and the experience dynamic.
During my recent visit, the shrimp tempura was a standout – perfectly crispy with a succulent interior. The grilled beef was another highlight, tender and flavorful, while the katsu chicken offered that satisfying crunch and savory taste you crave.
And of course, the sushi! Sumo Sushi & Grill AYCE offers an impressive array of sushi rolls, catering to all preferences with both cooked and raw options. Whether you’re a fan of classic nigiri or prefer creative specialty rolls, you’ll find plenty to enjoy. The quality and variety make it easy to keep ordering and sampling new combinations.
Adding to the modern and efficient experience, a robot brings the food directly to your table, which is a fun and unique touch! This innovative delivery method ensures your dishes arrive quickly and accurately.
The ordering process is efficient, ensuring you’re never left waiting too long for your next round of deliciousness. This AYCE model allows you to truly explore the menu without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Overall, Sumo Sushi & Grill AYCE delivers a high-quality and satisfying all-you-can-eat lunch. It’s a great spot for those who want to indulge in a wide variety of Japanese dishes in a comfortable setting.
The hostess sat us promptly she was super friendly, explained how everything works from ordering to left overs etc.
We placed our drink orders with here and then scanned the QR code to order our food. There were things we didnt really like and others that were sooo good. But we definitely over ordered some things and we were stuffed. There were some things we couldn’t finish and we paid for those at the end for the food waste.
The dragon eye roll was my favorite and the steak was cooked to perfection. The ninja roll was also really good and I usually dont like fried rolls.
The restaurant was spacious, had a salad bar, cute decor and little robots that brought out your orders.
Overall good experience and good food.
The curry rice and beef Don, and the sukiyaki are very delicious. The sukiyaki is on the sweet side. Oden soup is really tasty.
The sashimi isn’t the highest quality, so I wouldn’t come here for that specifically, but everything else more than makes up for it. The soup and rice are both delicious and comforting, and I was pleasantly surprised to see unique drink and dessert options like Thai tea and grass jelly—it’s a fun bonus you don’t often see at AYCE spots.
Service is quick, and the food comes out at a good pace even when it’s busy. For the price, the variety and taste make this a place. It’s my second time being Sumo, and I will come back again to when I’m craving a mix of sushi, hot dishes, and sides.
Not sure I’ll return BUT I would recommend it because of the great staff and unique experience. I think at the end of the day I’d just go to my local amazing sushi spot for quality sushi.
