I will dream about the meal I had this evening at Star of India. So delicious, every single bite. The service was amazing, servers are attentive and sweet, but the star of the show is this food. You want joy? Need your life to have meaning? Eat here. Im in awe of the korma and shrimp tandoori. Im sad to be full as I just want to continue to stuff my face with this amazing food. If you are looking for some delicious Indian food COME HERE. EAT EVERYTHING. I could not be happier with my experience here and look forward to coming back very very often!

Amazing food to match the amazing people that run the place! My husband worked here in college 10 years ago & when we walked in tonight, the same managers and chefs greeted him with enthusiasm. Incredible people make incredible food!

I had my birthday lunch at star of India and we were group of 11 people. We all loved the food, ambience and service. As it was my birthday they served complimentary Desert which was great. I highly recommended this place.

Service was excellent, Fyi Chai or lassi is not included on the buffet. Not much protein options either but perfectly spiced vegetables options.

The lunch buffet was a good deal for $17. There were around 10 dishes, naan was served separately, and on the day we visited there were 2–3 dessert options like gulab jamun, kheer, and mango custard.

My wife and I went to Star of India for dinner last night, and it was such a treat. We ordered a mix of dishes, Shrimp Tandoori, Malai Kofta, Onion Naan, Kashmir Roti, and every bite was full of flavor. I loved how each dish had its own personality, yet they all worked together so well. The cocktail I had was the Jaipur Mule and was delicious.

A special shout-out goes to Matt, who helped us nail the perfect spice level. He really listened to what we liked, and the food came out just right—not too spicy, but still bursting with flavor. Of course, the service overall was top-notch, with Johnny, Madison, Guri, and Jass also making sure we had a great experience.

For dessert we had the Kulfim and Pistachio Ice Cream. It was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. If you’re looking for a spot with amazing food and incredible service, I highly recommend giving Star of India a try.

I absolutely LOVE that we have an Indian buffet right here in town with so many gluten-free and dairy-free options—and at such incredible prices! Paying a little extra for the gluten-free naan is totally worth it if you need it. Star of India is hands down one of our go-to spots. Everything is clearly labeled, making it an easy and safe choice for those with dietary needs.

I have dined at star of india for almost 2 decades. They have incredible Indian food and a plethora of options to choose from. The vegetables Korma with raisin and cashew garnish, the chicken tikka masala, and the kashmiri naan is a common order of our families. Speaking of families, this is a family owned business and it’s neat to have come to know many of the staff and team members. My favorite Indian restaurant in town.

I hate leaving less than positive reviews but I was pretty let down. The flavor of the food itself was decent but I was really disappointed by the lack of variety in the buffet. There were only 5 different dishes out and none of it looked very appetizing.

The service left a lot to be desired. Neither server looked very happy to be there and didn’t really check in at all after the initial table check. I had to flag somebody down to even get a to-go box.

I ended up paying over $50 after the appetizer, the buffet, and a tip dining alone.

My favorite restaurant in Fort Collins and hands down some of the best Indian food.
Flavors are out of this world and the service is always exceptional with friendly and attentive staff. My partner and I order the malai kofta, butter chicken, and garlic naan – they never disappoint and consistently deliver the most amazing, tasty food. Highly recommend this place.
