Truly amazing! My husband took me for the first time today for our brunch date and I absolutely loved everything about Bob’s! Amazing atmosphere, very bright and friendly staff and cozy tummy feeling fresh in house made food! Our waitress helped me so much and gave me many recommendations and even showed some of the food she was bringing out to me make a decision easier. Thank you all so much for your truly awesome service today! Merry Christmas my loves!!

A local recommended this eclectic restaurant for breakfast, and it did not disappoint. My son and I were seated immediately upon entry at the bar-style high-top seating. We both enjoyed our breakfast tacos and country-fried steak.

It’s a little loud, especially with a guy sitting near you who would rather hear his own voice than eat or drink. Patio seating. Excellent service. They have a credit card fee AND a service fee.

Had brunch here on a Sunday and lucked out finding a table outside! The place is small but has plenty of charm! Food was good but they could use a few more vegetarian options (those options were extremely limited).

I love going to Bob’s! Especially for brunch on Sundays. Great atmosphere. Extremely casual. Every seat is a good seat. Sit outside when it’s nice. My current favorite is the French toast. My husband LOVES the meatloaf sandwich.

I f you happen to be driving east or west on I-10 and passing through Alabama Bob’s is a must stop.

Bob’s Downtown Restaurant is a true Mobile gem—great food, great energy, and a warm, hometown feel. Known as one of the city’s beloved breakfast spots, Bob’s carries a bit of local history as a longtime gathering place in the heart of downtown. The service is friendly, the plates are generous, and every dish tastes like it was made with pride. A must-stop for anyone exploring Mobile’s food scene!

Don’t forget bring a spare bill to leave on the wall–so much fun to see and read them.

Went in for a late breakfast and ended up staying longer than planned, which is usually a good sign. The place has that classic diner feel, nothing fancy, just comfortable. I ordered eggs, hash browns, and coffee. Food came out quick and was hot, eggs cooked the way I asked, hash browns had a nice crisp to them. Coffee refills were steady, didn’t have to flag anyone down. Service was friendly but not over the top, which I prefer. Prices felt fair for the portions. It wasn’t perfect, a little noisy during the rush, but overall it was a solid experience. I’d come back again when I’m in the area and want something simple and filling.

Walk in and wait to hear from someone, I get excuse me for her to go outside. I ask for a to go menu, easier to step out and look real quick CAUSE its Mardi gras, im looking for a place for 4 to sit and eat. She tells me quickly they aren’t doing to go orders, and the vibe SUCKS! Just the way she’s so quick to push you away and firstly act like my business wasnt welcome. Put the menu down quick and said I get it. Older, white, short hair, glasses, and they weren’t even busy

Was on a 1 day trip to Mobile and this place was recommended as best food in town. We’ll we got there ladies were nice. We ordered our food it took a minute to get it. We’ll when we got our food and tasted it. No seasoning at all. The blackened chicken tacos were pale n not a drop of seasoning. My daughter burger was tasteless. My burger was mediocre, the fries were good. The onion rings were very salted. If we ever go back to Mobile rest assure we will not return to this place.
