Today I tried The Burger Den for the very first time and after eating my meal I felt that I both liked it but didn’t love it. I had gotten the Baja Beach Beyond burger with their waffle cut fries and the burger was not what I was anticipating. The burger was beautifully put together but the flavor just was not what I was expecting, to be quite honest it tasted as if I got an Impossible Whopper from Burger King. That’s not to say the burger wasn’t good, it was, it just needed a bit more flavor on the beyond patty. I’m glad that plant based meals are becoming more frequent and recognized so I won’t say that I was completely disappointed. The waffle cut fries were the best part of the meal: they were crispy and soft and had the right amount of seasoning. Over all, for my first experience I was a bit unsure of how my rating would go. However, I did have a plant based burger so who knows? Maybe their beef burgers are a flavor to behold!
