After many years in the restaurant industry, July 31, 2024, marks the date we were afforded the opportunity to serve the local community. We bring our experience, dedication, and generations of family recipes to the table. Originally from the Kansas City area, we love great barbecue! Some of the fondest memories involve attending the American Royal barbecue contest every year with our families.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in, the waitress Sam AKA Sticks got our drink order for us while we looked over the menu, since it was our first time there. We started with the loaded family bay tots with extra sour cream…..big serving as well as cooked to perfection. I ordered the 2 meat combo which was half of a chicken and brisket with baked beans and garlic parsley potatoes. Generous helpings and even brought half of it home. My children’s father ordered a burger and he loved it. Peach cobbler was hot but it was ok when it came down to taste. Will definitely be back.

I ordered from this place and seeing some reviews on doordash I was skeptical but the food was so good and full of flavor..the portions were huge! It took awhile to get here but that’s understandable being that its a Friday evening..it was our first time eating here..it won’t be our last!

It was our first visit to this no frills bbq restaurant. Our server was very nice and attentive.
The pork was very good, though, it was not very hot. The coleslaw was ok, it did not have a lot of flavor. The bbq beans were tasty. The French fries were good and I believe had either old bay or a similar spice on them.
The sweet tea was good too, although, for my taste, it could have been sweeter. The tangy bbq sauce was good, too. It’s too bad they do not have an ENC style sauce, though. We will definitely be back.

The chicken wings tonight were very good. My husband and I normally have our favorite (the pick 2-3 or the AYCE burnt ends) but decided on the 50¢ wings for a change of pace. The staff was friendly as usual.

Found this place off the beaten path on my Ambo travels and had the best meal I have had in a restaurant for a VERY, VERY long time.
Decor was great. Waitress was AMAZING!! She made me feel like part of the family!! I can’t say enough about the food!! Price was great so I had: ice tea, melt in my mouth brisket, awesome bbq sauce, Yummy baked beans, perfect Collard Greens and OMG!!! The cornbread!! It was soo good I got collards, sweet potato, chorro beans and more cornbread to go! Every item had absolutely excellent flavor! This family owned restaurant has perfected their menu!!

Stopped for lunch again and I changed my order to a different sandwich. And my buddy ordered the two meat plate. Both were great and our drinks were kept full. Service is always great.

We have been coming here for a few years now. My husband picked up our food tonight and he had a baked potato and I had sweet. Both cold. Both of us got brisket and you see how that came out. No juices very very dry and cold. He did not get his baked beans and my okra looked like they fried it twice but it was cold. On top of that my husband tipped for a pick up. Very disappointed.

The chicken was under cooked. The onions and green peppers wernt cooked all the way. The portions of chicken and sides are ridiculous. I spent over $80. I for sure will never order again from this place. I’m baffled. The cobbler was cold. I don’t know how this place stays in business and has a almost 5 star review. I always order from Alabama BBQ and they were closed. Never again will order from this place.

We had been here a few times over 4 years ago, and this time around just felt like it wasn’t the same. We really liked the ribs here and some of their sides. This time the flavor and quality seemed less. I didn’t leave thinking I want to return. Service was not bad, just Ok, food was not as hot or flavorful. My first and last trip here. I ordered the Brisket Platter. For $15.99 plus tax I received four slices of brisket. A sauce cup of Mac and cheese and a sauce cup of green beans. To be honest the food quality wasn’t terrible but I have had much better brisket. It was rubbery and seemed to have been reheated. The potions were child sized . Honestly the smallest portions I have ever received anywhere in my life. To add insult to injury, the toast was only toasted on one side also. The meal pictured totaled $17.19. Needless to say My wife couldn’t have been full after eating this. Definitely not happy with this experience!
