Straightforward eatery serving familiar Chinese cuisine & Japanese-style soy-glazed dishes.

For starters, the person that was our cashier and server was very observant and polite. Our food came out fresh and hot, the taste and texture were very nice, but the portion sizes!? Very generous! This was our first visit, but we’ll be back!!

Got the general chicken and teriyaki chicken combo with an extra side of rice. Portion size is amazing. Saved half for lunch the next day, which was bomb! Service is nice. I like the owners personality. She spicy!

Average teriyaki chicken (very heavy sauced). The bento box had tempura (not a traditional tempura batter. More thick, like a corn dog), gyoza (this was good), salad (nice dressing), California rolls (could be improved), and rice. All together average for this. Pricy, but what isn’t nowadays.

Food really is best Chinese place in Puyallup that’s we’ve tried. It’s always worth the drive from Tacoma. Their pricing may seem a bit steep but the portions make justify the price. Don’t eat here if you don’t like to eat leftovers for sure. Their service is always good, though it really does take a long time. We’ve called in orders, left Tacoma, and still been waiting when we got there. As for the building it’s nothing new or fantastic. The parking lot is terrible but that’s just how it’s designed. Absolutely would recommend though.
A+ General tso, sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken, but my favorite is their hot and spicy beef.

Ordered from DoorDash, ate half and went to put the rest in a container for lunch tomorrow when I see METAL in the food!!!
Looks like whatever they use to clean their grill is now in everyone’s food.

5 stars all around.
This is that hole in the wall spot your friend talks about, they serve ridiculously big portions that even my girlfriend and I can’t finish together.
You can’t beat the price, the food is delicious, crunchy, buttery, perfect!
My go to is the sweet & sour / teriyaki combo
$15.99 and a portion that can last you 3-4 meals.
Added photo of us finishing our first round, there’s so much food. The lady is nice, definitely come here over anywhere else.

Rating F: Waited 30 minutes for ROOM temperature food and an order mixup. Appears our order didn’t called out even though we literally seated 10ft away. Then it got mixed up with a different order so they had to “remake” ours because the other customer opened the box and touched it. Even after continuous apologizing for the wait etc, our “new” order literally felt like it was left out sitting. Absolutely terrible service. I would care about the whole thing if it was severed hot/warm but it was literally room temp to almost cold.

I called in for an order at 6:22pm, I was told the food would be ready in 40 minutes (which is very long for a teriyaki restaurant). i show up at 7:15pm, and was told my food wasn’t ready. I did not receive my food until 8pm. That is nearly 2 hours for 3 simple dishes. While I was in there waiting, there were many other customers waiting. i asked around and some of them have been sitting there for over an hour as well, waiting for food. they are highly disorganized and they messed up my fried rice. I will never go back.

Always BIG portions, perfect for islanders like ourselves. Taste is usually an 8-9/10. Service is 10/10.
The lady at the front is very friendly and funny. She’s blunt to some people, but it comes out as comical and she’s just trying to get things done fast. Just like how our food came out. It might’ve been an 8-12 min wait, but honestly only felt like a 5 min way bc it was so fast.

My family have been eating here for 8 years. This restaurant offers Chinese, Korean and Japanese dishes. Through the years, we have ordered the chicken Katsu, fried rice, Chow mein (combination of pork, chicken and shrimp), bento box (chicken teriyaki, shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura. Very generous portions are given. All the food have been flavorful and delicious. However, one recent order I placed a few months ago was the chicken katsu. It was over fried and rubbery. We did not enjoy that. This was a first time we experience this.
The only person who works the front does it all!! She is the cashier, order taker, server, answers phone orders and bags your order. She can get extremely busy. Expect a wait if you are ordering to go, however, they get through the orders pretty quickly.
We would return to eat other items, I’m afraid to order the chicken katsu again LOL!
