The pasta pesto dish was superb but the ravioli with ragu was terrible. Overcooked ravioli, and the meat sauce was watery, as seen on the picture.
We also got to sit downstairs which was basically the hangout area for the staff and the atmosphere was not nearly as pleasant as it was upstairs. No ambient lighting, staff sitting around us and no other guests. Everyone else was upstairs. We asked to be moved upstairs since we saw multiple tables that were free, but they said that it was too busy upstairs and that we had to stay downstairs. Very strange response.
All in all, I would not recommend.
the pasta was good, but the portions were not really big.
the drinks (coke, sprite etc.) came in canes which didn’t fit into the vibe of the restaurant.
the service was okay but not really attentive or courteous.
overall good but nothing too special. unfortunately more show than substance.
I chose a set menu for 30 euros with focaccia bread and pesto sauce, pasta with pesto and beef with salad.
Wine selection was acceptable .
The waitress was friendly but has little knowledge of the English language .
Good selection for food and acceptable prices.
I enjoyed it very much. Couldn’t eat any dessert .
Thank you
The food was equally disappointing. The gnocchi were clearly industrial, sold for €8, the so-called “truffle” was nothing but cheap artificial aroma, and the flavors had nothing to do with authentic Italian cuisine. On top of that, we found a hair in the gnocchi and even a piece of bone in a meat-free pasta dish.
When we raised the issue, instead of handling it professionally, the manager created a scene and refused a refund — even though her own colleague had brought her the evidence straight from our plates.
The restaurant was unbearably noisy, making it impossible to enjoy a meal or even have a conversation. All in all, it’s nothing more than a blatant tourist trap.
It is ok but is just atmopshere and overpriced, a lot.
They say on menu “pasta with meatballs” and then is just one.
3€ more if u want potatoes and is like 4 slices, normal beef, and a lot of saldad.
Guanciale no tastier.
3€ more if u want burrata no tastier.
When u don’t see italians you already know.
