I liked the lodge, despite its crowded atmosphere and the fact that the tables were quite close together, allowing me to overhear conversations. (I was in the first floor.) The service was excellent. The food was comforting and homey, but nothing extraordinary. I ordered lamb, but unfortunately, I couldn’t finish it all.
I believe that a day with bright sunlight and pleasant weather would have made the outdoor seating area more enjoyable, providing a beautiful view.

The food was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. The beef burger was flavorful and cooked perfectly, while the chicken sandwich was juicy and satisfying. The salads were fresh and crisp, and the calamari came in generous portions with big, tender pieces of squid paired with vegetables—tasty yet light and healthy. The atmosphere was pleasant and green, making the experience even more enjoyable. To top it off, the blackberry lemonade was refreshing and delicious.

Came for lunch date on a Sunday. Very cute restaurant and location. The service was great. The issue was they could not make my sirloin steak right. I ordered it Medium rare and so did my husband’. His was a medium and mine was a medium well. My husband ate both steaks and I ordered a second steak for myself, still way too dry, overcooked and tough. That was disappointing, but I ordered appetizers, the prawns and deviled eggs were delicious. Be careful if you order scallops ( it’s just one scallop, and it’s medium size!) Good but not worth the price. I was grateful they accommodated my request to use butter and not oil to cook my food.

Our visit to Stone Cliff was enjoyable and earned a solid four stars. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with onion rings, and both were ok the sauce paired well, and the onion rings were especially good. One friend had the summer risotto and said it was nice, while another tried the turkey croissant with Gouda and bacon. That sandwich had good flavor but would have been better warmed so the cheese melted. The Reuben was another highlight—huge, loaded with meat, and very filling.
For dessert, we shared cheesecake, crème brûlée, and lemon cake. The lemon cake was the standout—refreshing and delicious.
We decided to sit outside for the first time, but it was far noisier than expected, and we agreed that next time we’d sit indoors. Even with that drawback, the service was attentive, and the food quality makes Stone Cliff a spot worth returning to.

I choose to give 5s here. I’ve chosen to give 5s at places like McDonald’s, as well, so take my opinions with that understanding…
I really enjoyed my dinner with my wife here. We had fantastic, attentive service. We had well-cooked food. We loved the view from our outside seating. Thanks for a great night out.

We ate here based on a friend’s recommendation. We sat outside and chose the pre fixe menu (early bird seating). It was 3 courses and absolutely delicious. Service was top notch. I made note on our reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary and they presented us with a sweet card. I can’t recommend enough!!

I was very impressed with how much room for parking there was after driving that short curved up hill. The food was pleasantly good, and the service was onpoint. We seated outside where the view was spectacular. Yes, I will definitely coming back.

I was very excited to enjoy lunch here with my mom! She ordered the chicken hazelnut salad, she loved it. I ordered the spring burrata it was good probably needed a bit more balsamic to be perfectly balanced but it was fresh and quality ingredients. She got a cocktail and I got a hard cider. She liked her cocktail. My hard cider was decent, I wouldn’t order it again.
Beautiful view. We have been before and the food was AMAZING. I was a bit underwhelmed this time but overall still good.
I’m bummed for the outdoor seating they don’t allow well behaved dogs. I would over look the minor details on the food if dog friendly because I do like the location being close to home.
Our server was great. Maybe a bit overwhelmed but attentive. I get the feeling they were short staffed or she wasn’t getting enough support. Wondering if under new management compared to last time because the vibes were different and food less consistent.

Delicious food! We had the steak bites (like butter), Caesar salad, pork chop and the crispy skin chicken. Everything was melt in your mouth goodness. The cocktails were yummy as well. Not overly expensive either. The server was efficient and friendly. We sat on the patio with a view, it was a little chilly but we’re looking forward to coming back when it’s warmer. We asked about moving inside, the server was gracious about it but we didn’t want to be a pain. You really can’t go wrong with this place.

This place is lovely, great service. Plenty of parking and a great view of the river. Everything was delicious and the servers were wonderful. If I truly had to nitpick anything I would say the risotto could have been cooked 30 seconds longer and the butter was broken but still tasty. Everything else is truly on point. Definitely recommend!
