Our 1st trip post The Winchester was for the Valentines Dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by the experience. Our server, Haven was attentive start to finish. Each course of the Dinner was excellent. The steak was cooked to order and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The desserts really stood out for flavor and uniqueness.
The restaurant also features a wide cocktail menu and bourbon selection.

Tuscan Prime at the Delta Hotel delivered one of the best Thanksgiving buffet experiences I’ve had in years. This was my first visit, and I’ll admit I went in a little cautious. Holiday buffets—especially later in the evening—can get tired, dried out, or just plain sad. Not here. The staff was working like a well-tuned machine, constantly refreshing the stations, communicating with each other, and keeping everything clean, stocked, and genuinely fresh.
What impressed me most was the management’s commitment to quality. More than once, I saw line supervisors pull trays that had simply crossed from “best” to “not quite perfect,” even though the crowd was slowing down. Instead of letting it sit, they replaced it with brand-new offerings. That tells you they take pride in what they’re serving.
The prime rib was the clear star—perfectly cooked, tender, and full of flavor, paired with what tasted like a house-made horseradish sauce that balanced it beautifully. The other meats were very good as well, but the prime rib was the standout by a mile.
For a Thanksgiving buffet, Tuscan Prime exceeded every expectation I had. I’ll absolutely be back.

We had a nice time! We had dinner here the other night after checking out the Festival of Trees at the Paramount. Live music at the restaurant entrance was nice, but a little too loud, had issues hearing the host/server/anyone over the music. Bruschetta was a tasty appetizer with fresh tomatoes, and I liked the short rib pot roast a lot. Old Fashioned was spectacular. My husband’s filet was overcooked and not the quality cut of meat you’d expect for filet, but he said the flavor was nice. He also enjoyed his sides – potatoes and risotto. Service was also slow for there to not be many other customers in the restaurant. We waited a long time to get our check, but the staff were all pleasant. The small issues weren’t enough to keep us from trying this place again another time.

Kimberly was amazing. My issue was with the bland food and pricey menu. Not to mention their misleading ads. We had the meat balls wirh ricotta which were Luke warm, pink, but delicious. Only 3 meatballs for $15. They put one dollop of balsamic to two metric tons of olive oil for the bread. No happy hour for guests at the restaurant you must sit at the bar. Our food came out 27 minutes later, mind you, we were the only one’s there. My OBB Pork Chop was bland, and so were the asparagus. The mashed potatoes were delicious. The pork chop was supposed to have an Orange Burbon Glaze, never tasted it. My son’s burger only had flavor from the onion. Needless to say, for those prices we won’t be back. Even if we sit at the bar. I can understand why you restaurant was empty at 12:30 pm on a Sunday.

A modern, chic atmosphere. Menu items range from appetizers to desserts, burgers, steaks, pasta dishes and more. Prices are high. Food is good. We ordered the spaghetti with meatballs, OBB Pork Chop, Calabrian Short Rib for main entrees. For dessert we had the tiramisu (excellent) and blueberry with lemon donuts. Service was excellent.

Terrible. I ordered a blackberry smash, they bring out a strawberry smash and say”we are out of blackberry syrup so we made it with strawberry, hope that’s ok”. Then the filet that my friend ordered had a chunk of fat on it. And she ordered it medium well and it came back raw. She sent it back 3 times and it looked the same after the 3rd time as it did the first time. The fingerling potatoes were very burnt and the melted steak butter was nothing but butter that had been popped out of the package and put into a dish. Very disappointed in the food as well as the service especially when we sent the food back 3 times. And food was cold. Shouldn’t had paid for it! This photo was taken after the meat had been cooked 3 times!

When you think of an Ashland restaurant, you do not think of the Tuscan Prime, however that is not a bad thing. They have managed to blend in high end restaurant with the local feel, and overall it’s a very good result.
When you enter, you’re immediately taken aback by the best decor in Ashland. You feel as if you’ve just walked into a 5 star restaurant in New York. The giant windows showcasing Ashland, and the wonderful modern decor that felt spacious but not overwhelming. The dining room was smaller than most of surrounding restaurants, however they managed to separate the tables enough to where you feel you have a spacious dining experience.
The best thing was by far the drink menu, with most drinks ranging from 12-16 dollars. They each have a different unique flavor, all being high end ingredients.
Moving on to the food, is where things get semi complicated. The starters were all spot on, tasting perfect and being sized appropriately for 2-3 people to enjoy. The entrees all hold their different personalities, with the steaks shining the most. The desserts were all high end perfection, with the cheesecake being the number one. The only issue I ever have ran into, was undercooked potatoes. They weren’t very undercooked, but you still got a crunch in them rather then a smooth chomp.
The service was very excellent. We did have some forgetful moments from our server, however it could’ve been easily excused because of the large amount of tables that the server had to deal with. The manager came over and checked multiple times on our table, and the server was a friendly breath of fresh air, that made you feel like family.
The price point may throw some people off, and I can see why. Entrees coming in at 40 dollars with only one side, and overall spending about 100-150 dollars on only two people can be a turn off for many Ashland people. I don’t think this place is meant tho as an everyday Ashland stop, instead meant to be a special occasion that you can’t get anywhere else in the tristate. This restaurant is not meant to be an everyday occurrence, but truly no restaurant is, but if you want a special day with your loved ones or friends and get to experience some premium dining, then this is the perfect place to do so.
Overall I can say this is a very great experience for the average Ashland resident. If you’re willing to put up top dollar but enjoy a nice high end dining experience, then this is the place. Instead of treating it as a place to grab a bite, treat it as a memory or an experience, because most of the community of Ashland will never get to experience a high end dining experience like this.

We came in from Texas. Travis was our bartender who gave exceptional service! My fiancée has a blood disease so he shared that the salmon and pork ribeye dish were great choices. We ordered both, and we cleaned our plates! Must try if you’re visiting.

We made a reservation 4 days before we went on Friday (the day before Valentines Day), the girl didn’t even ask for a time when we made it but we stopped her before she hung up and told her 5pm, she didn’t tell us there would be anything different for that night on the phone. We showed up at 4:55, there was seven of us adults and two children, they sat us down and gave us a “special” menu that was for Valentine’s Day which was limited to a very small amount of options and priced as $150 per couple, there were 2 options to upgrade for additional money, like an app for $10 more and lobster tail for I believe it was $15. The server was friendly but not good, it took 40 minutes for my DIL to get a drink she had ordered and we had to remind him about it. There was no bread, no crackers with the “upgraded” meat & cheese app, the salads took over 30 minutes to come out but then was followed almost immediately by the apps, then a few minutes later the dinner. One of the only 4 available side was fingerling potatoes, they were of course small slim potatoes, however over half of the serving was RAW, and they were cold, it was like biting into a freshly sliced raw potato and had no flavor either. It was the same for each person that got those as a side which I believe was 4 of us. Two of our guests thought the dinner part was alright but nothing special and mine was so bad I took 3 bites and sent it back, it was supposed to be cheese tortellini with a sausage but the pasta was mushy and had no flavor at all, there was no additional cheese to add or anything and they still had NO BREAD with the meals, there was not a single piece of bread or cracker for the entire meal. Our bill ended up being $850 in total the kids meals were only $7 each! They also decided to include a 22% tip on our check and the reason was listed as “Large Party” for SEVEN adults! So when I tell you that I have had better food at garage sales, I’m not joking, I really have. This was the most over-priced, lowest quality, poorest service, that I’ve had from a restaurant in YEARS, maybe ever! If you’re thinking about going, please rethink it and save yourself some time and money!!!

I highly recommend the New York strip steak and fingerling potatoes with broccolini and black garlic. Super tender and full of flavor.
