Having visited this establishment based on a local’s recommendation, we were thoroughly pleased. The service was exceptionally attentive, the cuisine was outstanding, and the atmosphere was wonderfully relaxed. There are numerous televisions available for viewing sports and other events. The menu is user-friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the beverage selection is excellent. Please note that the burger prices are for the burgers alone, with drinks and sides priced separately. The most advantageous time to visit is during Happy Hour, which takes place from 2 PM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday. They offer significant discounts on food, beverages, and desserts. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and we intend to return soon. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to anyone, whether they are visiting alone, in a group, with family, or with friends; everyone is welcome.

Fries and dipping sauce were a little too peppery and I really like black pepper. Otherwise good experience, the taco was great and the guac/blue cheese burger was good, maybe could’ve gone a little lighter on the blue cheese to balance it better.

EXCELLENT SERVICE
My wife and I dropped by for lunch on our way to Galveston.
We got there around 1PM and it was real busy. But we were lucky and got a seat immediately. And people kept pouring in.
The decor of the place is nice – a mix of booths and high tables – and seating by the bar.
Nice menu choices of burgers, tacos and salads.
Good selection of beverages too.
The food was excellent as was the service.
Definitely a place to stop if nearby.

Stopped by after the A&M game on a whim—so glad we did! Huge shoutout to Kallen for taking such great care of us. We tried the Basic Burger, the Willie Norris, plus regular fries and the sweet potato “yuppy” fries. Everything hit the spot. Definitely recommend!

I have Been craving proudest monkey but it’s so hard to get parking downtown. So I ordered in and picked up my order to beat the lunch rush. ♀️ ♀️ ♀️it was easy to order online and the order was ready really fast. I was in and out and back to enjoying my food in no time. I got the burger with a fried egg it was so tasty. I was a little worried because I had to customize removing mango since I’m allergic but they got it correct. The fries are the best! Definitely recommend trying if u haven’t yet.

Absolutely love this place. They have amazing food, amazing staff and the atmosphere is absolutely amazing. A copy lil joint with a great bar and great food. I personally come here for the Cuban tacos, but I love everything I have ever had here, and the fries are maybe the best in town, whether it’s boring, dirty,yuppy or fire, they are amazing.

Stopped in for lunch Saturday. I had the Willie Norris burger with the Yuppy fries. Both were great. The wife had her burger as a bowl and loved it. The service was excellent and the atmosphere is great. Oh yeah, the drinks were great as well. If you haven’t been here yet, check it out!

Small please with big booths – I had a very good server she was very attentive and kind. Seems like a little place for college kids to get a burger and a drink.
Recommend thorougj cleaning – most surfaces had a good amount of dust, staining and/or debris on them.
I got a grilled cheese with fries. Small portions. Fries were uneventful but the grilled cheese was pretty terrible. I’m not one to generally dog on anything, but when I picked it up, it leaked water and started to come apart, with the cheese turning to a watery goo.
I liked the gravy that comes with the fries – its an intensely peppery gravy to dip fries in and its really good.
I suspect the place has a high rating because they offer a discount for 5 star reviews. Again my server was very nice – 5 stars for her service and the primary driver on this averaging to 3 stars – but with the issues I dont see how its possible for this place to have nearly 5 stars on google without the incentive on the table. My opinion of course, but I dont recommend the grill cheese maybe their other stuff is better.

I thought the food would be much better than it was. It seems that the beef patties are frozen and a little hard and tasteless. The fries were OK, but also seemed like they were frozen.

First time here, had lunch at the bar with Taylor. Great bartender, excellent food! Had the pulled pork green chile sandwich with yucca fries and a blueberry mash… all very yummy… Highly recommend
