My husband and I would frequent Anthony’s a couple times a week. It’s either hit or miss with their food. My eggplant pizza was burnt to charcoal, every piece of eggplant, ravioli had ZERO flavor and the meatsauce tasted sour, meatballs are always cool which is a safety issue and tonight my chicken parm sandwich is awful. It’s dried out and over cooked chicken pieces (not even tenders, little chunks), the roll is hard and dried out also. These are only a few examples. Photo: My dissected sandwich, the most edible parts.

Honestly one of the best pizzas I’ve had in a while. The crust was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft inside, the cheese had that nice stretch, and both sides were packed with flavor. You can actually taste how fresh the ingredients are

The toppings on the pizza were fabulous. First time I was here everything was perfect. Second time a few weeks later my takeout pizza was burnt on the bottom, and I was disappointed. Hoping this was just an anomaly, because I do like this place!

Ordered a large pizza from this place tonight and this is what I got. Largely burnt and extra crispy. The crust is so burnt there isn’t even any dough in it. Completely awful and it took 25 minutes to make this mess.

It was my first time coming here since I work next door. I ordered garlic knots with an extra well done slice of pizza. The first red flag was when I overheard the person reheating my slice, basically judging me because I like my pizza crispy, well done. If you’re going to talk about the customer make sure that the customer isn’t near you. Then when I received my slice it was not cooked the way I asked. The slice was still very soggy. Second red flag was I ordered garlic knots and the amount of RAW garlic on those knots was unbearable. I couldn’t even finish one. I had to give them away. Third red flag was when I found the first short hair in my garlic rolls. I thought it was mine even though my hair is long and pulled back in a bun. (I work at Publix next door. We are required to have our hair up and in a hair net when working the deli). Until I gave the garlic rolls to my cousins because I didn’t want to throw them away. They ate the garlic rolls hours later. THEY FOUND MULTIPLE short hairs in the food and had video proof because they were doing a TikTok. When I saw the video I immediately was disgusted. I was trying to give this place the benefit of the doubt with the hair. But we found over 3 short black hairs in the garlic knots. As a fellow New Yorker living in Florida I would NEVER recommend this pizza place.

Would have been 5 stars but we got a pizza takeout once and it tasted like dish soap.. all other times food has been good. We like the 86 street square and the grandma pies..

recently visited Anthony’s Pizza at 2433 South Woodland Blvd., Suite 111, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The pizza was not very good the bottom was black, almost like the oven hasn’t been cleaned properly. Being from New York, I know what good pizza should taste like, and this definitely missed the mark. On top of that, the waitress was not friendly at all, which made the visit even worse. I’d recommend taking your business somewhere else

I’ve visited Anthony’s many times before, and the food is generally pretty good. I also like supporting local restaurants. My issue this time was that I watched a worker(perhaps he’s the owner since he is usually there) come from the back, wipe his forehead with his hand, wipe that hand on his apron, and then immediately start handling pizza and making more pizza. Not something I prefer to see right before I eat there.
Another concern, which may or may not matter to some people, is that the place itself isn’t kept very clean. A little more attention to cleanliness would go a long way.
If this review does anything, I hope it raises the standard for hygiene. Wiping your forehead and then handling food barehanded is, at the bare minimum, unacceptable.

I’ve been to Anthony’s Pizza a few times and the service has always been really good. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been friendly and attentive — you can tell the staff actually care about their customers. The prices are definitely on the higher side compared to other pizza places in the area, which makes it a little hard to come as often as I’d like. But the service itself is consistently great, and Sierra especially is ALWAYS really kind and helpful during my visits!

The cashier was some young girl that was very rude and didn’t even seen to have any personality. We didn’t say we wanted our order to go. But yet she didn’t even ask. Then when we noticed the sign that said orders to go we can’t dine in. We asked if we pay them a tio can we eat our food there and she said no. Also we paid cash and when my mom looked at the receipt she didn’t get the cash discount that is stated on their receipt. When mom asked the lil girl didn’t know what to do and didn’t even try to correct her mistake. This was our first time there and will be the last time..! These kids now days are not very bright and can’t even do basic math when paying with cash. Aswell didn’t even know how to correct her mistake. Sad to see such pathetic attitudes from customer service personnel..! That was Jan 13th around 5pm 2026.
