Sunday night dining was not too busy. The light is low but not too low. Lots of seating that spans around the entire perimeter of the bar area. Open kitchen area that allows onlookers to view the chefs while their food is being prepared. Drinks could be sweeter but that could be a personal preference. I ordered the prickly pear and the El Diablo. There is a charge for chips and salsa. Chips are thick and hearty and the salsa has a slightly smoky finish to it. We ordered the Brisket Enchilada w/Poblano cream sauce and the Birria. They were excellent. The meat texture and flavor is fantastic. Football game was on near the corner of the bar. Bathrooms located at the front of the restaurant and ample seating for various sizes of groups. Plenty of parking. Staff was friendly and service was super fast.

Delicious food, beautiful drinks, and a wonderful atmosphere. I went here on a double date and everyone enjoyed themselves. I got the “Bubbles in a Bucket” cocktail and a quesadilla, both of which were absolutely amazing. I like that the water comes in a carafe so you don’t have to rely on waitstaff to keep refilling individually. Plus, it provides a touch of elegance. I highly recommend sitting outside on the patio when the weather is nice. We sat by the fire and it was lovely.

We were seated close to outdoors. They have had a late summer yellow jacket problem for years. Literally we had this problem 2 years ago. The yellow jackets are still there. Our table was inside but close to the open overhead door. Food was good. Service was a little distracted? They weren’t that busy, so not sure why.

This place has a nice atmosphere and friendly staff, but the value of the food needs major improvement. I ordered the $39 ribeye medium rare, and got two pieces of ribeye trim cooked to medium because the steaks were too small. They dressed the sauce over the top to make it look like a whole steak. The rest of the plate was a giant serving of rice and beans for filler. This is not a bad place to grab a drink and some snacks, but I would go elsewhere for a full meal.

This restaurant has a really warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in . The place feels cozy and inviting, which makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. The owner also seemed like a genuinely nice and friendly person, which added a great personal touch to the whole experience .

One of the highlights of my visit was the pork coconut burrito — it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were unique and perfectly balanced, making it something a little different from the usual burrito. You can tell a lot of care goes into the food here.

Since this was my first time visiting, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I left really impressed. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’ll definitely be coming back again to try more from the menu ✨.

If it were an option I would give this place a 3.5. The Atmosphere at this restaurant is beautiful. The staff is very nice. The food was good but nothing was mind blowing. The best items we tried were the BBQ Brisket Taco and the Chile Renello. The Brisket was awesome! Great flavor great sauce pairings. I could have eaten those all night. The Chile Renello was so good. The tempura was perfect and using Gouda instead of Queso Fresca was an awesome choice. The greens and beans were awesome! They honestly had more flavor than any of the pork dishes which was really surprising. The Pork burrito and taco were a little disappointing. The flavor was all in the sauce and there wasn’t much sauce. The actual pork was completely lost. No depth of flavor, honestly they could have put tofu in there and it probably would have tasted the same. The Flautas were horrible. The Birria was thick (which I have never had thick Birria in my life) and truly tasted like spaghetti-o’s. The Flautas had not flavor at all, if I hadn’t seen it on the menu I wouldn’t have guessed that there was chicken in it. The Guacamole was pretty much just mashed avocado. No seasoning no real flavor. All around with the exception of the two dishes I liked, everything was under seasoned and lacking. The Pina Passion was very good and strong! While the food was fine, 50/50 on whether I would go back again, I would like to try their Brunch and see if I have better luck.

Loved it! The special BBQ platter with the charred chicken was amazing. I’ve never had chicken that good. The hatch chili Mac and cheese was creamy, spicy and so yummy. The drinks were spot on as well!

Fantastic restaurant with the some of the best upscale Mexican food in Portland. Beautiful decor. Great service. And everything from scratch food with incredible cooking. Their queso is out of this world. Send the tacos are amazing. They serve a pollo asada with a risotto that is outstanding. I can’t offer enough praise.

I love, love love the cheese enchiladas. I came for my birthday with friends. I didn’t say anything about my birthday but I had a gift to open and the server noticed and comped the churros I ordered which was so nice.

But I asked for onions with my cheese enchilada instead of meat and the server said it would be $4.00 extra. For a small amount of added chopped onions? And I wanted to try both sauces(green and red). And there was an extra charge for that as well even though that wouldn’t cost anything extra. I agreed to pay the extra for the onions but not the sauce. Sometimes policies get in the way of a perfect experience.

Seriously, this experience because of the food quality and the server was good. The food came out hot and looked and tasted amazing. There were no leftovers! I have been looking for amazing cheese enchiladas with onions and I have finally found them.

Service was great, no complaints there. Food was incredibly average and way too expensive for what it was. The rice tasted like Uncle Ben’s rice from a bag, nothing was remotely spicy even if it was theoretically supposed to be, the house salsa is akin to something you’d get at the grocery store. If you like slightly plain, unexciting food then this is the place… And honestly the place was packed, so obviously I’m in the minority. I don’t want to trash talk the place at all, I think it’s just not my cup of tea.
