I had the Veal Scarpariello (without mushrooms on request). The Veal was tender and had a nice flavor, was served over pasta with a side of green beans with onions. First was a choice of soup or salad (salad here) and garlic bread was complimentary.
Everything was good, decent sized servings (pasta was a bit light).
I did dine in the bar and there was a game on, so it was loud, but the server made time to check on me and service was pretty quick.
Didn’t try any desert, but the desert menu is attached.

We absolutely love Uncle Sal’s! It has officially become our special spot for birthdays and anniversary celebrations. The service is always above and beyond, the garlic bread is top notch, and the food—well, it’s simply delicious. But more than that, there’s just something magical about this place. As long as those doors keep opening at 3 p.m., we’ll keep coming back!

I just really wish they would dust the ceilings. Senior crowd. I can’t name one thing that was actually delicious. The seafood had such a horrible smell. And your bread sits out in bird poop. Some of the bread is eaten by the birds, so don’t be surprised if you get sick. I’ve told these people several times. They can care less.

We were in a large group and our service was below average. One waitress was untrained and surly. Different servers appeared and no one took responsibility.My husband’s soup and dessert was forgotten twice. Arrived after everyone was finished. Other food orders arrived 15+ minutes apart. Disorganized. I wouldn’t recommend for a large group. The food is overpriced but good once you get it and overlook the surly waitress and staff who ignore requests.

First time there! My sisters birthday. Emily our server was efficient and we had everything we needed when we asked. We had a party of 11. We really tried so many different things. Started off with the crab cakes. Great ambiance.

I am greatly disappointed. I came in as a one top because I just got off of work. The host I think her name is leta, she wanted to put me at a tiny table w/ an empty restaurant. I requested a slightly larger one because I eat a lot and I was getting food to go for my son. I hate being cramped. She suggested that I go outside on the patio, but it’s chilly. She looked me up and down in my work clothes and said, ” I’m sorry I don’t think we’d be able to serve you because we have a lot of reservations.” I’m in the industry and I feel like she was just trying to get me out the door, which she was successful doing. I don’t think management will care about one person, but It’s our job to make EVERYONE feel welcome. Extremely poor customer service..

Been going to Uncle Sal’s for the last 20 years. Had dinner at 2025 New Year’s Eve. I cannot say how delicious the food was. Not that I always haven’t had a great meal there but they outdid themselves and the service was excellent. It makes you wonder how a restaurant can do such a fabulous job and such a busy night. I will probably always go there and take many friends to impress them with that delicious food and great service. I think everyone should know that they have been there forever and they never disappoint.

My go to Italian place in Scottsdale! Our server this time was Emily who was great, we came close to closing without a reservation and were sat right away. Yummy free garlic bread. Great Cesar salad and specials! I got chicken scarpariello this time which I wasn’t crazy about, I think the portion was a bit small for an Italian place. Their tiramisu is a MUST! And their espresso martinis get the job done. We will definitely be back. Reservations recommended!
