My favorites or the super tender baked chicken, mongolian beef, garlic green beans, pea salad and pasta salad! The food is awesome and the people are super nice! They always bring me a tea refill and I complement their food every time!! Restrooms are super clean also.

A few options were very overdone, borderline burnt, and no effort was made to replace with fresh the whole time we were there. I only got one plate of food off the buffet since due to medical reasons I can’t eat very much at once. I asked for a box to just take what was left on my plate home, but was denied. They probably just threw it away ♀️. The food that wasn’t overdone was very good as usual!

Pricey, Considered a 10yr old as a adult price of $14.75. Usually most places it’s 12 and under for kids price. Feel a bit pricey to take your kids or grandkids there for dinner maybe lunch but even then. Not kid friendly items either to eat.

This place was amazing! You can tell that they know what they are doing with food here. I went on a Saturday shortly after they opened for supper at 4:30 p.m., and it filled up pretty fast. Sometimes, it was hard to get in between people to get a plate of food, but everyone seemed to be kind, and with a little patience, I got my plate filled. Panda Garden is a hotspot in Newton, Iowa. Another plus is that they open at 4:30p.m. so you know the food hasn’t been sitting all day long drying out. Be sure to try the peanut chicken! The sauce was excellent, plus the crunchy fried chicken took it to the next level. Everything was fresh and fabulous. 5 out of 5 stars! I left a tip that was more than my bill. Soft drinks are included in the under $20 price for adults, which makes this a great deal as well!

We called ahead to ask the price for carry-out buffet and were told $13.99. So we came in and were given a container to fill and then checked out. When we got home we realized that we had paid over $17. I called to ask why the bait and switch. The answer — “You take too much!” Maybe they need to post the price with the addition of “but don’t take too much!”
