Great Food. Great Service. Your Neighborhood. Bambinos Cafe is proud of our reputation as one the best restaurants in town. There’s a lot of great restaurants in Springfield MO and so we were honored to be voted Best Italian Food, Best Place For Date-Night Dinner and Best Restaurant by the Missouri State University newspaper The Standard.
In 2015, we opened our second location at the intersection of Battlefield and Lone Pine in the Half A Hill shopping center. Bambinos on Battlefield has all of your traditional Bambinos favorites in addition to a wonderful selection of desserts from our bake shop.

Food was delightful, a real treat! Tomato bisque soup was delicious!! White bean chicken chili was really good. Panini sandwiches were served piping hot on homemade bread. Complimentary bread basket was appreciated and wonderful with soups. We thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Meredith, our waitress, was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and just simply top-notch! We’ll be back soon!! Note: visit before 4pm to get lunch pricing.

Came in and was sat immediately. The waitress we were served immediately and she ensured me that my shellfish allergy was considered and her service was amazing the whole time. The food was very good for an authentic italian restaurant! The atmosphere was kind of dull but there was no music which would have made it better.
We will definitely be back!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. The food is phenomenal. The leftovers were just a good. Service was great and made us feel like we altered in their home. Delicious all around.

Omg, absolutely loved our visit to Bambinos! Payton was the sweetest waitress…so friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I ordered the salad and tortellini and wow… both were seriously delish ✨ Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Great food + great service = can’t wait to come back! Give Payton all the stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Overall great value for the cost. I’m from an area that has lots of wonderful choices for food – so this was hard for me. The food was good but not great.
The bruschetta was served more like a soup – definitely not what I was used too. It had a good flavor but more on the bland side. It lacked garlic – which I LOVE – so I did add the fresh chopped garlic they served on the table – but of course, didn’t give the garlic time to infuse with the remaining ingredients.
I had The Poppa and they made adaptions – I love the spicy sauce – they swapped the sausage for chicken for me and added spinach. The pasta was definitely overcooked – as you can see I like my pasta less soft. They definitely give you healthy serving sizes. It was enough for me to eat 5 times on.
My son and his wife enjoyed their dishes a lot and the kids ate all their Alfredo and spaghetti with meat sauce.
Overall a good experience – I just like more flavor. I’ve been to Italy and eaten many different dishes there – so I do know they can cook!

Serving good food is the easy part for most restaurants. What restaurants ultimately have a hard time with is Service. Bambinos nails it. The servers do their jobs very well and are happy while doing so. I saw 2 staff members give each other a high five when cleared and reset a table top for 20 people in 1 minute. It’s the little things folks. Oh and the food is also terrific. This is definitely a top of the list establishment!

We rented out the side room for our Christmas party (40 people). They provided a buffet style meal with appetizers, salad, bread, 3 types of pasta, and dessert. It was delicious and the service was great! We were able to come in early to decorate and it was affordable. I was very happy with our choice!

“Toasted” Raviolis were soaked in oil and squishy, the steak tips were overcooked, the pizza was cold, kids macaroni and cheese was like boxed shells and cheese from Walmart quality, it took 2 hours to get from apps to entree, the bathroom was disgusting and the interior vibe is like a Panera. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere for your Italian. Olive Garden is better!

I’ve enjoyed this restaurant for years. Today my service was horrendous. Sat for at least 10 minutes before the waitress greeted us. My food arrived 5 minutes before my friends and she only had a salad. Our iced tea was never refilled, and when the waitress left the bill, it was incorrect, and I couldn’t get the waitresses attention. Then she kept all the money and didn’t bring any change.

It was an absolutely great experience. We had a great serving staff while there. Everyone was very courteous and very accommodating. The food is great quality for the prices. To me it seems to be the best Italian place that I’ve tried in town. This is especially true whenever you incorporate price into that rating. Everything there was well priced and you get very large and generous portions. All around a great eatery.
