For $20 a roll, the sushi is, at most, below average. There was almost no fish in the roll, mostly rice and greens, the value is not there. And it just wasn’t good, honestly, let’s be real here. I’m not speaking about the sushi rolls with cream cheese, easy to mask a bad roll with cream cheese and make it taste good. Yes, I know, we are miles from the ocean and you shouldn’t expect good sushi in Tennessee. I get it, but then, why charge for the rolls like we are getting fresh fish straight from the fishing boat? Maybe the chef has never tried real sushi himself/herself? Anyway, hard pass on this place, I should probably stick to Pizza, BBQ, and Burgers in Tennessee. The beer was good though!

Place really needs a good cleaning, the trim around the booths are covered in dust and soy sauce splatter, definitely off putting. If the dining room is dirty, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like…. Also the menus are covered in a layer of stains and stickiness? What’s up with that? Even the folder the receipt was delivered in was sticky and covered in grime.

3 stars cause the food was very tasty! Our server was solid, we sat in the bar area and he was great!

I took my mother here as an early valentines day treat. The sushi was spot on and fresh. Being native to California, I can be picky about sushi but I was very pleased with Nama. The atmosphere was also cool, a little hip but classy with good prices. Just go.

One of the nicer sushi bars I’ve been to.the chef personally brought out the food and it was perfect.Allergy friendly,my girlfriend is deathly allergic to avocado and there was NO cross contamination, they even replaced the avocado with cucumber. The waitress and service was on point as well.

We ordered a Philadelphia Roll, Caterpillar Roll and fish tacos. These came with Miso Soup and Garden Salad. These rolls are less expensive than other rolls but to look at them, one would think that these were of the more expensive type of roll. They were as Delicious as they look. The fish tacos which were also beautiful to look at were very Tasty! The soup and salad were so fresh and good. Portion-wise, servings were generous and although we could have had to go boxes, we ate it all, right there. Jillian was our server and she was so efficient and so funny that we felt like we had found a new best friend! Service was the best and we hope you will go and discover this Wonderful restaurant.

We stopped in to have a bite of sushi to celebrate my husband’s new job offer and truly enjoyed the experience! We inadvertently popped in on a half-price sushi day, too! We left with our bellies delightfully full and excited about the dining experience.
He had the nigiri, I had a tempura roll which was only $9 instead of the regular $18. I felt like I was presented with a work of art! I could tell the chefs were proud of their work and it was a delightfully tasteful experience. (I don’t usually take photos either but it was too pretty not to try!)
Lovely waitress was helpful and not too overbearing—the service was just right! A lovely visit and we will be returning! 🙂

We were visiting in the area and staying at a nearby hotel, and looking for an interesting place to have dinner. We live on the east coast, where it’s easy to find good seafood, but we’re not as sure about finding it in Tennessee. However nama was high quality and very good. Not only was the sushi good, but the service and drinks were great as well. We were visiting looking for potential retirement spots. And if we retire in that area, we will definitely be repeat customers!

We absolutely loved this restaurant. The sushi chef completely outdid himself. Everything was fresh and on believably good! The manager came to our table a few times and was delightful. But our server Taylor, did an absolutely fantastic job! I have a food allergy and she made sure that I was taken care of without any issues. Our evening was outstanding and we will definitely be back and recommend it to everyone!
