This was fine. A big group of us went out for dinner. Crazy good selection of very affordably priced drinks, cocktails and a MASSIVE beer list. The fried chicken sandwich was eh…just a basic chicken patty where I was hoping for for a big, juicy breast. Bun was good, though and the onion rings were MASSIVE. Too much onion on some of them. It’s a cool place with a good vibe, I just wish the food or service delivered.

Whistle Binky’s North is one of those rare places that just gets everything right. The staff is always fantastic—friendly, attentive, and many of them have been there for years, which really says something about the atmosphere they’ve created. The service is consistently good, and the food never disappoints. On top of that, their drink menu feels endless, with something for every taste.
This is the kind of spot you find yourself coming back to again and again. Thank you, Whistle Binky’s North, for providing such a great restaurant and bar. Highly recommended!

we always like it here. the food has always been very good and the wait staff very friendly. The prices are very reasonable also. I really like the tuna bowl and tuna salad but I have enjoyed everything that I have tried. We have become regular guests lately.

The only concern was at the end of the meal I asked for a to go container for my leftovers. My meal was the Noi Eggroll Salad. The container (some kind of cardboard/fiber) was inappropriate for the leftover as the container soaked up all of the dressing and became very soggy. The food was delish while eating at the restaurant, the leftover not so much. I will still go back and eat here, but will request a more appropriate to go container for the food purchased.

Fair prices, friendly service, convivial neighborhood pub atmosphere, nice selection of beverages for all ages. Popcorn for noshing, my partner ordered the steak which came cooked as ordered, my stir fry with brown rice would have been better if the sauce wasn’t so heavy handed.

Average bar with a large menu. The waitress was not friendly or personable. She definitely didn’t want to be there. Her tone was rude, or that’s just how I perceived it. They might have been short staffed. The food was good. Portion sizes are great. You won’t leave hungry. Fries are top notch. Prices are high, but that’s life. Parking is plentiful.

In my opinion the Southwest Salad (Santa Fe) here is the BEST salad in Rochester – and I’m paying attention. I try to get in there once a week if possible. The staff are all friendly and the vibe there is relaxed. During the warmer months they have a patio that allows dogs as well. As you sit down don’t forget to either request or grab yourself some popcorn.

I ordered carryout, but when i picked up my order, the inside of the place looked really nice and the bartender was very friendly. I ordered the pork belly sandwich with fries, and the beer cheese soup. All of it was absolutely delicious, especially the pork belly sandwich. I just couldn’t get enough of it. I’m from out of town, but if i lived nearby i would probably be here all the time, highly recommended.
