Let me just start off by saying the food is beyond good. The cabbage is not soggy, but crisp. The rice cooked to just the right point. The chicken is blackened to perfection. Sooo what can I say about Juci Jerk. Well let me start by saying they use to have some phenomenal can’t wait to get to the car type of meat. The sides were always questionable. During covid they went downhill but we thought it was them not grilling with the correct tools being that wood was hard to acquire. After covid we tried again and it was better. Well today we are back to the mediocre flavor. I do not have a problem with dryer meat. My issue is I paid for one thing and received something different. My husband picked up the food assuming it was correct. They threw a few pieces of what we ordered on top and the rest was something we did not order. They prepared grilled ribs (KingsFord charcoal), nothing jerk about them. Respectfully try them yourself and perhaps it will be a better day for them. I wish them the best because clearly they “had” the winning formula at one time. I truly hope they return to their original standard.

I wanted to give this place a five star review because the food was good. The customer service was horrible. I liked to have slipped when entering the restaurant and the ladies both wearing red and blue hair didn’t budge getting the water up; just looked at me. You’re not greeted at all. When paying they ask for a tip. I would have loved to tip, but the customer service wasn’t there. I only went here today because my sister recommended this place, but I don’t think I’ll be back. Jerk chicken and shrimp was good though. You attach good customer with that food you’d be unstoppable.

The food was hot, fresh and absolutely AMAZING! I can’t wait to go back. I had the ribs and the jerk chicken. Top Tier. It’s a small building but the food has big bold flavorful seasonings cooked to perfection. It’s a great Caribbean food option if you’re on that side of town.

I was leaving Stone Mtn Park and suddenly had a craving for some island food. I Googled what was near by and Juci Jerk came up. So I locked it into the GPS and was on my way. I saw the smoke from a mile away. Once I got there the outside wasn’t very impressive but the line inside said I was in the right place. The cashier shouted “30-45 minute wait for chicken and ribs”…and nobody moved! My stomach said the try the pork and that’s what I did. It was nice and warm and ready to eat. Full of flavor and the sauce was good too. The rice and peas were nothing to brag about but I wasn’t there for that. The cabbage was mid as well. The jerked meat is the draw and for that they get 5 stars. I’ll follow up with a second review in a few weeks because I’m going back for some of that chicken and ribs!
Pro tip: Order ahead because the line and wait get long. You can find their info online. For $3-$4 more, always go with the large. There is additional parking in the rear and they only offer takeout. I ate in my car because I couldn’t wait to get home.

I visited this restaurant expecting a full barbecue experience, but they were completely out of chicken, ribs, and pork—just macaroni and cheese left. The mac and cheese did have a nice cheese pull, but it was nothing memorable. To my surprise, they even offered me barbecue sauce to put on it, which didn’t exactly help. Overall, it was just OK. Don’t waste your time or the drive—you’d have better luck finding barbecue at a gas station or an empty parking lot. Yes, they wanted a TIP. TIP, don’t run out of food!

I used to go here regularly. I got a small jerk chicken plate with rice and peas and cabbage and nild sauce is the boss. The food used to be really delicious the chicken was grilled and not to the point of almost being burned. The chicken was alright as long as the fire doesn’t char the chicken skin my drumstick looked like it was charred extremely on the skin. Keep a eye on the chicken. I visited on 7/17/2025.

First the building is clean, small and no dine in option but no worries. I just want my food and go lol. Customer service mediocre but definitely not bad. Parking not alot but enough.

8/10 The flavor is unmatched! Its the dry pieces for me some of it is dried out and hard to chew so I tend to throw some of that away. Then some of it is extremely moist and very yummy and flavorful. I really like it. Serving sizes are great and I love how they chop it up.
8/10 Ribs are flavorful and just like the chicken I love the jerk chard taste so good! My rinds weren’t meaty alot of bone but it tasted great and no sauce required. I add sauce to the food because I love there sauces. Rib has the right amount of chew and moist texture.
7/10 rice and peas are very basic but their decent and they give you plenty for sure. Not alot peas in them though.

Definitely had enough to meal prep for 2 days and I ate some. So I ate off this plate 3xs. I dont eat alot so to each there own. Im considering getting a whole chicken for my meal preps from time to time.
This place won’t disappoint other than sometimes a little more dry pieces than my stomach can tolerate. I live it there!!!
