I have not been into a McDonald’s restaurant in a long time. The service and cleanliness of this particular one on Gorham Rd In South Portland, Maine was exceptional. At least one employee was on a continuous circuit around the restaurant cleaning tables, chairs and the floor at all times. This event was the icing on the cake… after getting the 3 toddlers out the door in their gloves, hats and winter coats and into the van we were about to drive off an employee ran outside in the 10F frigid day waving a knit hat, that belonged to the 3 year old, the smallest of the brood. He would have had a certain disappointment at home because we were just passing through not to return. She refused anything but a heartfelt thank you. But she did tell me her first name; Angie. Thank you again, Angie.
I guess we will return to a McDonald’s in the future, because much to my surprise, McDonald’s makes an awesome Americano coffee.

The atmosphere is stressful, and the service is atrocious. Why can you not open the second drive-through? It’s been months and it’s the closer one to the restaurant. You just don’t actually want it so even though it would benefit every one of your customers because your employees aren’t smart enough to operate both of them, you’re just not gonna use it. This is why I hate McDonald’s. Always taking the easy way out

This is the first McDonalds I’ve ever been to that refuses to make mobile orders within 30 minutes of closing. Bizarre system since they still accept orders in the drivethru until closing, just not in the app. The worst part is that any mobile orders placed before 10:30 PM, but picked up after 10:30 PM, also don’t get made. In other words, they can’t make the order I placed, but they STILL TOOK MY MONEY for it! So now I have to hassle with trying to get a refund. The employees were nice though and I know this is not their fault.

I am aware that breakfast stops being served at 10:30. I arrived at the Drive-through line at 10:25. By the time I got to the window, it was 1031. The man on the other side of the microphone refused to serve me breakfast. I explained that I had been in line for five minutes and that it was only 10:31 and he didn’t care. He just kept repeating we are no longer serving breakfast! I will never go back

All most every time I order they give me the wrong breakfast sandwich. Ordered a bacon egg cheese on English muffin, they gave me steak and onion breakfast sandwich. Don’t they check the order before giving to the customer.

Went to get breakfast this morning. Never again. The person whom I presume was the manager had horrible customer service skills. Did not check my order for accuracy so I never got my drink. Never spoke to me at all just set the bag in the counter and walked away even though she did say the order number. Waited a couple minutes to try to get attention of an employee to get my drink but that failed. Did not feel like a valued welcome customer at all. Won’t be back. I get better service at the Westbrook location.

I ordered a Sausage McMuffin with Egg and Cheese meal. I had to pull over and wait for ten minutes, which is fine, but they gave me an Egg McMuffin and I didn’t have time to wait to have my meal corrected, because I was heading to the airport.

I would say this afternoon horrible horrible service. They gave me a freaking cheeseburger with mayonnaise on it and I asked for just a hamburger happy meal. It’s not that hard.
