Unregular Pizza serves 72h leavened Roman pizzas in a unique fashion. In this pizza shop, you will never ever find the so-called “regular slice”. Even the simplest margherita presents three final toppings that add a flavorful, yet a somehow classic and intense taste: pecorino romano DOP, parmigiano reggiano and homemade garlic infused EVOO. The mouth-watering menu offers a variety of Burrapizzas which feature a whole burrata on one squared slice, here are some examples. The menu includes a variety of lasagnas (one made with Bronte imported pistachios), Sicilian eggplant rollatini (a revisitation of Sicilian staple eggplant parmigiana) and meatballs made with a special guanciale sauce.
The beverage choices are narrowed down to fresh juices.

I had like a veg Roman-Style pizza and the sauce was tasteless. Will not be back. Searching Google for pizza places in this are, Unregular stood out as unique. That’s why I wanted to try it. I didn’t realize they had no seating – disappointing – but we were only stopping for a quick bite before going to Regal Cinema. I got the 3 mushroom, and a slice of pepperoni. They were both excellent. My wife got a grandma slice. Getting a free drink (3 or more slices) was an unexpected bonus.

For me personally this was the best pizza I’ve tried so far in NYC. I liked the fact they had many vegetarian options. We went with veggie festa and Grandma peppina. Both of them were scrumptious. It’s mentioned that the dough is well fermented and I could feel that it was light on the gut as well. Highly recommend trying pizza here!

Really good pizza. Regular NY style slices and thicker crust, square Roman style. Lots of options with Burrata mozzarella on top. So good! Wife got the square prosciutto and I got pep. Both delicious and the regular slice was good as well. No seating but there is a standing counter.

The rich texture and fluffy dough, which are different from Joe’s, were impressive.
Personally, I think comparing two pizzas is like comparing completely different foods.
My kids preferred the pizza here. I think I’d love to stop by again the next time I visit New York.

The pizz options are so unique and although I’m generally not a big fan of the square pizzas, I liked these. They are also very generous with the toppings. The proscuitto burrata was my fav!
I do think that the quantity of sauce is a bit much, some bites are just an excess of tomato in your mouth.

I pinned this pizza place to give it a try and I wasn’t disappointed. The slice was so nice and fresh and very different than what I’m use to in NYC, but it was tasty. I would definitely go back for more.

The Meat Lovers slice was fine but was kind of soggy but the garlic knot pieces were solid. Overall it was overpriced for what you get

We were there in April and stumbled across unregular pizza and it was amazing! We got a few different pizzas and the bread! It was phenomenal…. going back soon and we can’t wait!
