Great food, friendly and efficient servers, and reasonable prices. Also comfortable, roomy seating and clean bathrooms. We had the seafood platter and lobster roll. Both were excellent! Great onion rings and my favorite clam chowder anywhere. Delicious!

Great place in the area to get some delicious seafood! The service was phenomenal, good food, and an outdoor patio! My girlfriend and I split the Double Lobster plate and the group also got the Lobster BLT, Lazy Lobster, and Lobster Rolls. All were excellently prepared and got the thumbs up! Get there early, we had a group of 12 and it took 40min to get a table, we arrived at 5pm. They don’t take reservations. Our server was awesome! She really took care of us! Recommended!

Lobster Boat Restaurant in Litchfield may seem off the beaten path but it very well may be worth any out-of-way drive, and upon arrival, it won’t take long to feel the “seaside” buzz from the colorful building and entranceway to the distinct aroma of freshly prepared seafood inside. The menu is loaded with enough options, both seafood and non, to satisfy everyone in your party. Service for us was friendly, helpful, and prompt. We felt right at home. Two of us ordered the Baked Seafood Medley which was gorgeously served on a bed of baked crumbs. OMG, D-lish. The Crab Cakes with Lemon-Garlic Aioli were incredibly flavorful. The Fried Seafood Platter and Buffalo Chicken Tenders looked great as well. Highly recommended.

Restaurant is small and cozy inside. Waitress was very nice, fast, and attentive. The clam chowder is appetizing. We ordered a combination of fried clam and scallops. It was mostly French fries though. My daughter ordered the lobster rolls. She rated it 4 out 5. Mussel was also tasty and highly recommended. Chocolate cake desert was satisfying and bake fresh daily. Food came out fairly quickly along with drinks being refilled in a timely manner.

Place was not crowded and there was plenty of good parking. We chose an outdoor table which was great until the mosquitoes arrived! Waitress was quick and efficient but didn’t check on us as often as we felt she should have. We each started with chowder, DH got fish and I got corn. Though both were hot and tasty with ample potatoes, fish or corn I thought $7 for a cup of corn chowder was a little pricey. Food arrived quickly and was well prepared, nicely fried golden brown seafood and fries. My baked potato was perfect and the chopped coleslaw was tasty and not too wet. Portion sizes were very good but I would have liked more coleslaw as I had ordered the large fried haddock plate and only got a small cup. I wasn’t crazy about the tartar sauce but I tend to make my own at home so I may be pickier than most people. They do not serve hard liquor here but appear to have a good selection of bottled and canned beers and hard seltzer type drinks. They also offer 8oz burgers that looked tempting. They had some interesting dessert items but we rarely get dessert. Would go again if the seafood bug bites as this is closer than the beach and probably cheaper!

Beautiful day to eat out on the shaded deck. Good beer selection. I had the fried clam roll with ff. There were 5 huge bellied clams that were delicious. The ff were crisp, the way I like them. My husband had the fried scallop roll. There were 6 sea scallops (on the smaller side) but perfectly cooked. He loved his lunch.

Good treatment from employees and other customers. It is a cozy place to visit with a family with a variety menu. The food taste was excellent, the portions of each plate balanced, and the prices for the seafood were also adequate. Ella was our server, and she took with patience our order. Our party consists of 6 adults, 2 children. And all the orders were served correctly. My lobster corn chowder in a bread bowl was delicious, and the bread crispy. This means that you can eat it from top to bottom, where I did completely. The fisherman’s appetizer was awesome.
Definitely, we are going to return soon and invite you to do so.

Look this is a nice place to eat-however if you are new to the area be warned!! Clams are not what you expected…pic attached..like wth!
Second lobster is DIY…that’s ok but be ready for that! Clam chowder was great! Lobster roll was ok.
