Got a gift card and a strawberry lemonade. The lemonade is really fantastic. This older guy was getting his order and he asked the barista “which one is extra hot?” She says “what?” “I ordered one of them extra hot, which one is extra hot??” And she calmly just said “this one we used the extra hot milk” I thought that was impressively professional lol. Anyways. Cool place with nice people.

Built in 1897, the building has a long history and now is the home of this great little coffee shop. Great coffee, perfect location and very friendly service.

Let’s just say I frequent this coffee shop a little too frequently…so frequently that I am now on a first name basis with most of the baristas. This has been my favorite coffee spot in Summerville for years and I don’t foresee that changing. It’s a quaint location right in the Hutchinson Square area of Summerville. This is a great location for meeting friends or business acquaintances for meet ups. They’ve recently done some interior rearranging and decorating that has definitely enhanced the ambiance and made it feel more spacious. The reason why this is my favorite coffee shop is their hot lattes….their milk steamer must be magic because their milk doesn’t get frothy but creamy and thick and it makes every sip just delightful. Another plus…they make their own syrups…And they of course are delicious also. My advice…plan to enjoy your coffee there. Request it in a mug (because drinking out of a mug is always better not to mention theirs are cute ) and enjoy every last creamy sip!

Truly, an awful experience, which I can only attribute to the new ownership. Previous visits have been good, but this time, it fell far short of expectations. The cheese Danish seemed to have been made from yesterday’s cinnamon roll. The seasonal lattes were disappointing, with the eggnog latte tasting more of dishwater than eggnog and the white chocolate raspberry tasting like the person making it just thought really hard about raspberries. Additionally, the lattes came in to-go cups when sit-in service was requested, but that was convenient because they took so long that we were ready to leave by the time they came out. Skip this one.

Used to come here all the time for years but I had moved out of the area, so it had been awhile since I had their drinks. I was back in the area and was excited to go back for a fun drink. Unfortunately I was greatly disappointed. I ordered the Thai tea with tapioca and it was disgusting. The tapioca was well cooked but had no brown sugar (which is a staple when making boba), making it just taste extremely bitter. The Thai tea had no flavor in it as you can see by the picture. If you’ve ever had this drink, it should be a deep orange and very creamy. It was either. Just takes like watered down half and half. I ended up throwing it away after two sips. And the change in decoration was disappointing as well. No longer as warm and cozy as it used to be. Next time, I’ll head to the Thai restaurant next door and get a Thai tea.

This cortado was straight up beautiful both looks and taste wise. Major props to Logan as he recommended it and made it, it did not disappoint at all.

Such a sweet place. We tried the boba, the Jacob, an americano, gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip muffin, & gf blueberry muffin. Everything was so good.

Loved the smaller location in Carnes Crossing but they are now closed so tried this one. They serve old, dried up pastries here, coffee not nearly as good as the other location – once here was more than enough. Only thing good was the servers – very nice and helpful!

I did not realize that I would find better bubble tea than San Francisco bay area, in a quaint little square in a quaint little cafe, all the way on the other side of country on the different ocean cost! Just amazing! Thoroughly enjoyed the bobba and the cozy ambiance. It’s the first time that I went to a food place where the line was out the door, and I discovered that the reason was absolutely worth it!

A very popular and hence a crowded place. If you are looking for a quite time with an excellent beverage, carry the beverage and sit in the park across, the beverage would make up for the time and effort.
