My husband and I received a gift card to The Keg for Christmas and decided to use it last Saturday night. The restaurant was basically full, despite the freezing rain and snow. The restaurant is mostly below ground providing an intimate feel. The food as always is fantastic and the service was top tier. Our waitress Eva was kind, courteous, and her timing was impeccable. We started with escargot for my husband and a ceaser salad for myself followed by a 10 oz filet steak which we shared. We indulged in the cheesecake afterwords and I have to say the raspberry garnish tasted good enough to be homemade. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely return again. Hopefully, we will be lucky enough to get someone as perfect as Eva.

Stopped at The Keg in Kingston while driving through and it was absolutely worth it! The steak was cooked to perfection—juicy, flavorful, and just how I like it. The ambience was warm, classy, and welcoming, with staff who served every guest with a smile. Special thanks to Sonia, our amazing waitress, and to the chef who personally brought out our dishes—such a nice touch. Truly a top-notch dining experience!

We had a lovely dinner here! All the staff were super kind and welcoming and offered great recommendations. The braised short rib was tender and not too salty. The burger was tender, and was a great portion size. The brie appetizer was phenomenal, we would definitely come back for that. Tuna tartare wasn’t anything too special but a good portion for the price. We ended off the meal with the billie miner pie which was phenomenal (more of an ice cream cake rather than a pie though).

Great spot, nice ambience and fantastic staff. We had a slightly undercooked steak come out and another server happened to come by, saw it and immediately took it back to the kitchen for further grilling. Our server apologized profusely and the manager brought out an entire new plate with the steak. Incredible service. Will definitely be back.

We had an amazing celebration at the Keg. The food was so tasty! We ordered a French Onion Soup and a steak. The soup size was big and the cut of the steak was perfectly cooked. The restaurant has different spots where it can get louder or quieter, which makes it perfect for any event. I want to thank to our server, Justin, who guided us through all the menu and gave us the best service!

Fantastic experience. My hostess Samara, waiter Joel and their team kept me well served. Joel recommended the Kansas City Striploin which was truly remarkable. Even the beans and carrots were delicious.
Update: I thought it couldn’t get any better until I upgraded to the T-Bone, sautéed mushrooms and 3 cheese butter for the bread.

This was our second time at this location and it did not disappoint. The food was incredibly delicious and the service was fantastic. I believe our server was Joel and he was great. The atmosphere at this location is so nice and the restaurant is conveniently located in the downtown core. I would recommend reserving a table in advance since this place seems to be pretty busy.

My husband and I spend our anniversary every year at The Keg and we love exploring new locations. The service was above and beyond. The owner came to greet us and had a little chat with us. The food was good but we’ve definitely had better at other locations. We had a small issue with a hair found in the mashed potatoes and we totally understand that things happen. Again the owner came out and offered his apology and brought us new potatoes. They comped us dessert and our drinks and overall we were really pleased with how the service was. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again.
