I’m not sure how I first heard about honey fire barbecue, but man I am glad that I went there. My friends and I went out for lunch and I’ll try different versions of the pick two meat platters. Between us we tried the brisket pulled pork, sausage, and chicken. The sausage was by far the best meat available although all of them were really good. The sides were also delicious. We had some of the best beans I’ve ever had, incredible corn, pudding, and banana pudding with Nutter butters that rocked our world. The coleslaw was all right, and the mac & cheese was good as well. It was a Saturday afternoon during lunch. There was a lot of people there and the line did get long at some points. I’dI liked that there was both an outdoor and indoor seating area as there were a lot of kids inside. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine. Part of me is really glad that it is in Bellmead and part of me is really sad as I’d love to eat here more often, but my waistline would prefer I didn’t. This may be one of my favorite local barbecue spots in all of Nashville now.

Omg!!! We are traveling through Nashville on our way to Baltimore. We decided to eat here because it was close to our hotel in a great little district. I’m not a big fan of BBQ but my husband is obsessed! Right away we walked into a well maintained clean area, I was not blasted away by the smell of bbq that someplace a have that are overwhelming g and heavy. I picked the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw, bourbon baked beans and banana pudding. The sandwich was packed with meat and well sauced, juicy and light. The baked beans are to die for! The soft slow burn of the spice and seasoning was so delicious and to top it off the banner pudding was excellent! I’ve recently become alcohol free and the staff was more then happy to make me a Moscow mule mocktail tha was amazing! I highly recommend coming here!!!

We had a great time and enjoyed the food it was soooo good.. my husband I have bn looking for great bbq for a while as he travels everywhere for his job.. a each state we love to find a steak house and a great bbq place.. we bbq smoke meats also and Lice it . Though sometimes it’s nice to get out.. my Aunt and uncle treated us to lunch and I chose the places and we decided on this place and Mannnn yall did not disappoint!! It was the best bbq we have had and it has bn a while ..our servers were very kind and friendly attentive to us except one guy we ask for bags plates and a sauces was a lil rude .. its all good though cause the other workers made it so nice for us to b there.. Bobby was one ..we had the screaming lil baby Mt aunt try to bring a worker home !! cause the food was good she needed a cook… I highly recommend this place the people and food to everyone !! As I am now !! Good job and thank you to the cook for making some great bbq ♥️

Got the Pick 2 platter so I could sample the ribs and pulled pork both. Ribs were very meaty. The pulled pork when you looked under the seasoning was all white meat. My partner rated the pulled pork sandwich as good enough to order again. This style Banana pudding doesn’t have banana bits or wafers. I’d give it an OK.

I love barbecue! I’ve been on a brisket kick for a while, and the brisket here is fantastic. had a great smoke flavor, not overly smoked, nice and juicy, perfect texture. Great flavor, enough to make your jowls salivate. I love the bark on it. It doesn’t blend in with the meat, texture wise like a lot of briskets do, had a slight crunch to it not bad at all. I was pleasantly surprised. I loved it! The macaroni and cheese was perfect. The baked beans were off the chain you gotta try them. What completed my experience here at Honeyfire barbecue company was Clay and Olivia, they treated me like we were old friends, Great conversation and a lot of fun. Thank you very much, I live in Nashville now and I will definitely be back to visit many times over, I have more barbecue to eat, more fun times and conversations to have.

Brought my wife here for lunch and had some wings and fries, she had sausage and cheese. The flavor was off the chain! Even though the restaurant was pretty full it was pretty toned down. We loved the atmosphere and it’s extremely clean. It’s everything you would expect from a bbq place and more! Definitely coming back to eat here again soon. Thankfully it’s reasonably close to home. This would be a great date night destination. Dinner and a movie right across the street!

Decided to try Honeyfire after a trip to McKays and I’m so glad we did! Such great BBQ! Every side dish was delicious, the smoked chicken was flavorful and not too fatty, and the staff were friendly. Will definitely eat here again when on that side of Nashville.

The food and atmosphere was OK, nothing to get excited for or prompt us to return. Smoked chicken was dry, but the sausage was good. Restaurant was nearly empty, but the majority of the tables needed some sort of bussing, but the staff were all hanging behind the counter. Which brings me to my main issue and this is not the only place that does it.
As on small business owner to another, please remove the tip option from the pos system. You run a counter service restaurant where the customer has to order at the counter, fill their own drinks and bus our own table! This is not a table service restaurant, what are we tipping for? Plus you had a tip jar, which is fine, but that should be it.
