Decided to stop here for lunch with my mom and we arrived at a good time as they weren’t too busy. Our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable of the menu, and offered amazing service.
I started off with a swamp thing and cup of seafood gumbo. The gumbo was delicious and a good start to the meal. I ordered the fried catfish (from the lunch menu) and subbed a house salad instead of the rice/beans. The fish was cooked just how I like it (fried hard) and the salad was a good balance!
Overall, we had a good time and I would return to this location!

The atmosphere was very pleasant and quiet. Server was very attentive. I got the redfish with the fried oysters. The redfish had a crispy skin and it was a nice portion. Very well seasoned it was very good. Came with a side of collard greens. Tasty. My son got the Cajun crawfish platter. It was very good and spicy like he likes it. The truffle potatoes served with it were delicious! We got the fried calamari and octopus for an appetizer which we really enjoyed the white sauce was the best but the marinara was also really good . For dessert we shared the crème brûlée and it was perfection!

The restaurant is gorgeous, lovely atmosphere, and the staff are great. Drinks were great, including the mocktails, but we did have one issue with the food. We are never the type to send food back, but we did need to send back our salmon dish due to it being TOO salty for our taste. However, Tony our waiter, and the manager that was here was extremely accommodating to make the situation right, which is much appreciated! Was still a pleasant evening so thank you guys!

The food is almost always excellent. Meals are cooked to order and there is absolutely no hesitation on correcting anything that isn’t to one’s liking.
There are times when it’s more busy than others and we have waited upwards of 45 minutes for a table in the past. At this point if we know we’re going to eat there we almost always make a reservation. It’s easy to do and it’s a guaranteed way to be seated immediately upon arrival.
