Delicious food, friendly, and prompt service. If you start off with those things, it makes for a great meal. I ordered the beef Lula kebab plate, seasoned perfectly and a good size serving. Ended the meal with very delicious baklava. There’s a parking lot right by the restaurant if you can’t find street parking.

I work super close to this restaurant. We used to dine or order regularly. I noticed last year that their menu had changed and looked different. Didn’t put two and two together. I thought maybe the owners wanted to revamp their menu. During the passed year I only ordered food to go and still didn’t notice too crazy of a change. My coworker and I dined in today and I was very disappointed. First off, it took a long time for us to get our drinks or even approached by the young woman that was working. She kept flirting with the bus boys in-between approaching tables. Very obvious. And let me mind you that they only had 4 tables that were occupied. Their prices have also doubled from before. They have Mexican food on the menu. The menu itself is all over the place. Why would I go to a wannabe Greek restaurant and order tacos. So strange. Also, I noticed that their food had no flavor and was off. I love lemon but every appetizer was overwhelmingly too lemony. I won’t be back.
I couldn’t finish my food so I asked for a togo box. I also asked for some garlic sauce to go and the waitress asked me how I wanted to pay for it, since I had already paid. At that point I knew ownership had changed and I let her know that I was not happy about paying for a tiny amount to garlic sauce. Ridiculous They ruined this place.

We’ve been to Elena‘s for many times. They have the best kabob in all kinds of meat. I especially love lamb chops!!!
We love their garlic sauce and their rice. Everything is amazing here.

This place is good. Small setting but their food is all so good and tasty. Truly like home made. Small is actually better with its appropriate menu thus food will be fresh. The only thing i didn’t care for is Quail. Its fresh but i actually don’t like the taste of the meat. I don’t like poultry in general i decided to try. They have pork belly kabobs. I haven’t tried sounds delicious. So, all classic middle eastern side they have and they are right on target. Please support them they deserve it. i go there so far once a week after my Whole food Mkt shopping.

Elena’s Greek Cuisine has been a family favorite of ours for over 25 years! I’ve been coming here since I was a kid when my dad used to bring us, and every visit feels so nostalgic. While the décor inside has changed over the years, the food has stayed exactly the same–delicious, authentic, and full of flavor. Their lentil soup is my absolute favorite, and it tastes just like it did decades ago. It’s rare to find a place where the quality and consistency never change, and Elena’s truly delivers every time. My husband and I just randomly stoped by to have lunch as we were in the area. We were very pleasantly surprised by a cozy atmosphere and amazing food, meat was melting in my mouth and paired with that rice and side dishes it was an amazing lunch. My husband is vegan and he had plenty to choose from with a help of an amazing owner Richard who was taking our order and made us feel right at home We definitely be back and recommend this LA gem to others!

Love the food. Portions are huge and price is right for how fresh and flavorful the food is. There’s something for everyone to enjoy (vegan, gluten free and those with food sensitivities, toddlers). Food was good. You can tell they know what they’re doing. The owner/manager was very friendly and engaging. However, the 2 servers were 0 stars at best. We got there around 8pm. My wife and I ate as our daughter was sleeping. She woke up around when we were done eating. So we fed her as I was trying to put some left overs on the Togo boxes. The 2 servers came and started taking our dishes. I told them not to take the 1 plate because our daughter is still eating. He answered me rudely with ” we’re closed and we’re not getting paid overtime.” I said that’s not my problem. Granted it’s a small mom and pop place. But, you do not say that to a customer. I’ve been in food service for over 25 years. Not a single time have I or my staff ever would even think of saying that to a customer. Too bad, because we really liked the food.
