Apparently, Pei Wei in Brier Creek is under new management because their customer service is exceptional. The Manager, Patrick went above and beyond to accommodate us. The restaurant was clean, the food was hot and fresh and came out quickly. It’s so refreshing to get stellar service these days!! Definitely come try them out!!

Love this spot! Always quick and fast. Firecracker shrimp is actually spicy and one of my favorites on the menu. Yum!

Decided to give them a try tonight since it has been almost a year since our last visit Went for dinner and they were busy with only 1 person taking all orders to include online as well. We were greeted when we made our way to the register. I ordered 2 chicken egg rolls and chicken fried rice. My husband had the general Tao. My only complaint was the amount of onions they put in my chicken fried rice. Overall a lot better than the last time we came.

My friend and I tried this location today, and the entire experience was great!! We were helped by a beautiful lady who was very nice. She offered me u selections and answered all our questions with a smile! The food itself was fresh, hot, and flavorful. My favorite was definitely the egg rolls and lettuce wraps! I would definitely be back to this location specifically.

Pei Wei was easily one of my favorite places to eat several years ago. Due to inconsistencies and poor management I stopped going. Today, I decided to try things out once again.

I walked in and was greeted by staff who were quite friendly. This is where the pleasantries stopped. I ordered a Mongolian chicken and forgot to specify brown rice (it’s been awhile). Staff typically asks what kind of rice but today they did not and gave me the default- white rice.

I found a seat and my food arrived promptly. The first thing I noticed was the overcooked white rice staring back at me (see picture below). After attempting to give the bowl a little mix I came across literal slabs of chicken, which were supposed to be bite size, accompanied by several stalks of green onions (see picture below) which were completely inedible.

I couldn’t bring myself to eat even half of this poorly-prepared “meal.” I was beyond disappointed. There are tons of other, better Asian restaurants locally. I would steer clear of this location as your money is better spent elsewhere.

This place has gone downhill. They deliberately understaff the location. They used to have 4 cooks during peak hours. Now there is only one. Online orders are now ready 15 minutes *after* the promised time. The place seems empty at lunch, too, which is a reflection on the customer experience. I don’t think they’ll be around much longer.

Food was acceptable, but the delivery packaging is entirely unacceptable. The white delivery box appeared to have been intentionally left wide open – as if someone had been either tasting or tampering with the contents! Additionally, the black containers with plastic tops could also have easily been compromised during transit. Pei Wei in Brier Creek failed to use any security packaging such as security tape, disposable clamps etc. SECURE PACKAGING is crucial for reducing the risk of food tampering and protecting the food from potential contaminants that could arise from the vehicle or airborne elements due to the driver’s smoking, sneezing, coughing, etc. Simply tying a knot on the delivery bag does not meet acceptable standards.

To the manager: I urge you to address this issue immediately and invest in reliable food safety delivery packaging and/or revisit the best practice standards for delivered food.

To the customers: Exercise caution!

Great food, fast service, and friendly staff. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the restaurant was clean and well run. Easily one of the better Pei Wei locations I’ve been to. Highly recommend.

I tried orange chicken and kung pao chicken and fried rice. The chicken was good and fresh. The flavors were good. Fried rice was okay.. it’s good enough that I want to try everything they have on their menu. Between orange chicken and kung pao chicken I’d prefer kung pao without the beans. The quantity is too large. On both occasions I found it very hard to finish my meal. Would definitely visit again to try out other dishes.
