When I go to Tipsy Taco, I always get the chicken nachos. I’ve been to the Greer, Easley, and Greenville locations. Easley was by far the best, but sadly they closed. I was so disappointed. The chicken was severely under seasoned, if seasoned at all and dry. What I don’t finish, I take home to enjoy again. I didn’t even want to take these home. I just ate the chips and scraped the chicken to the side. I hate wasting food.
The service was sub-par. She took my order and gave me my check. That was it. No checking in to see how I was doing. Nothing. I worked the service industry for the better part of my life, I don’t have huge expectations but I do think checking on customers once food arrives is basic courtesy.
I am eager to visit the Travelers Rest location! Hopefully they will be more equivalent to the late Easley location.

Recently moved to SC from the Midwest and are on a search for the best Mexican food spot to meet all our needs. This place was not it. The biggest downfall was no free chips & salsa. We ordered the queso and it was not what we were expecting (white with peppers/spice). It was more of a yellow color and they had a pile of jalapeños on top. The cheese tasted like jar bought nachos cheese dip. I ordered a chicken quesadilla because they didn’t have my usual arroz con Pollo and you can’t go wrong with a quesadilla but I was wrong about that. It was nothing but chicken and had orange cheese in it. It was to come with rice & refried beans and I got what looked like whole black beans. The rice also tasted like the Spanish rice in a packet you can buy at the grocery store, not like a typical Mexican restaurant. My husband ordered a burrito and said it was fine. I should have looked more closely at menu to see they are Tex-Mex but based on the food I don’t think I will go back. The service was also slow for how few people were in there. Cost was about typical nowadays though.

First time here, and I’m super impressed. Came to grab a quick bite togo, and the service was great. The tacos were crunchy, fresh, and flavorful, and the beans and rice were cooked to perfection. I’ll definitely return to try more things on the menu, and I absolutely recommend Tipsy Taco for an affordable, delicious meal!!!

Stopped in while visiting Gville… it was May 5th, so tacos were required! Found this spot lively and fun. Live Music and lots of folks enjoying the day.
Food was ok. Solid queso and street tacos were good, a little wet and sloppy, but seasoned well and went down easy.

Food was so good. The waitress was good as well. Was offered free dessert to a little mistake on our order. Didn’t have to ask, which else wouldn’t have…but was nice for the resturant to take action even on a minor mistake. People don’t do that these days. Definitely would recommend.

We literally found this place super quick saw passing by in the area and it was so good. The whole menu. Everything was cooked perfect, our waitress never made up wait on a refill. If ever back in travelers rest we will be back!

This place is so nasty! Even the alcohol was terrible and they are super expensive to be so flavorless. The queso cheese dip was disgusting with a ton of grease from the beef couldn’t eat it. I was so shocked at how nasty the ground beef was in the tacos how can you mess that up and $70??? I would have rather went to taco bell at least their food has flavor. Go some where else if you trying something new. Please.

I had a business dinner there with a fellow employee, and it was excellent. We got the chicken coop tacos, tamales, and the Alport/pork tacos. The chips and salsa were also excellent, beer choices fine. I highly recommendation.
