Great place for a great burger. I got the Royale with cheese( aka a smash Big Mac burger)… delicious! My husband got the A burger which he claimed was just as good. Our bartender was Olive who was very down to earth and engaging. Kelly the manager made us feel welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend

Had an amazing tasting experience at A & B! Went for the small bites/apps and it was delicious…. Calamari so tender with secret sauce that has a whammy kick, whipped Ricotta soooo smooth you could eat it by the spoonful, Mezze board hummus – real deal! Try the Crane cocktail with Japanese whiskey – deliciously paired with Polpette meatballs!! Finished off with chocolate flourless brownie and crème brûlée – perfect!! Run to A & B in Beverly – won’t disappoint!

I just had to compliment this place—especially the staff, and in particular, Sam. She was absolutely lovely! As a non-local, I found her incredibly helpful and so sweet that I honestly wanted to put her in my pocket and bring her along on the rest of our trip. She offered great recommendations for things to do, and every single one turned out perfectly.
A&B, you’ve got a real gem on your team. Sam was attentive from start to finish and truly deserves recognition—if not a managerial position, at least some well-earned job security. I tried to find a manager on site to share this directly but couldn’t, so I decided to write this review instead.
As for the food—delicious! The burgers were juicy, flavorful, and came with plenty of options. The only small note is that both of our burgers were cooked a bit more than the medium-rare we ordered.
The atmosphere was clean, crisp, and beautifully scenic—an overall wonderful setting. If I find myself back in Massachusetts, I’ll absolutely return… hopefully Sam will still be there (unless she’s moved on to something even better, which she surely deserves).

Great food. I got the pineapple and ham burger, my babe got the Frenchy. We also got brussel sprouts. Sides were truffle fries and fried pickles, both were great. Beer was good too and our waiter Brendan was responsive and knowledgeable.

Pretty good overall for a busy theater night. Burgers were better than expected for the price and location combination. Sides were good. Chips with their onion dip was excellent.
Good selection of tap beer. Espresso martini was okay, but not great. Boozy milkshake was nicely done.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. The food is fine and the server was nice. However, I have celiac disease and I came in to get the $5 burger deal and they would not allow any modifications even though I can physically not eat gluten. They would not even just charge an extra few dollars. Having to pay $20 for the same exact food everyone else can get for $5 is absolute ridiculous. I am deeply saddened by this experience and lack of care and accommodation, I will not be back.

Service was absolute crap the manager there is very disrespectful. Very racist. I went out with a few of my friends. We ordered to go pick up. when we got there, the manager said oh I didn’t know it was for these kind of people then proceeded to make racist jokes about Mexicans to other patrons that were there. Very unprofessional definitely be writing to corporate. What makes it even worse is the food was absolute trash. The only reason why I gave one star review is because it won’t let me make zero star reviews.
