This was the spur of the moment stop for lunch. It ended up actually being very good. It was not the largest choice of food, but everything tasted good and was hot and fresh.
The staff was friendly and kept our drinks filled. The place was clean and the prices were reasonable.

Never really have a bad experience. I mainly do take out as it’s more convenient and yet still cheap and affordable. The only downside is that sometimes the items you want are empty and that’s just what it is. Other buffets have more options for sure but you do get what you pay for.

Great Experience at Golden Buffet. The Golden Buffet in Waterford was a really solid experience. The food was fresh, well-stocked, and had a lot more variety than I expected — especially for the price. The staff kept the trays refilled and the dining area clean, which made the whole visit feel smooth and comfortable.
Some dishes stood out more than others, but overall everything tasted good, and nothing sat out too long. The hibachi/ grill station was a nice bonus, and the dessert table had plenty of choices to wrap up the meal.
Service was friendly, plates were cleared quickly, and the atmosphere was relaxed. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for good value, plenty of options, and an easy, enjoyable meal.

Such a great environment with fresh, tasty food that is a variety for everyone to enjoy! The staff is so friendly, quick and helpful! We came on a Friday, they had a DJ which made the family dinner night even better! Great place for friends, family, and any occasion! Would 100% go back soon!

I guess I am confused by the reviews that say excellent food etc. We just left there. Paid $73 for food for 2 adults and 2 kids. The food was hot and being topped off. However, everything tasted off. The meats at the grill tasted off, spoiled. The foods at the bars tasted off. We eat china buffets alot. We were concerned about what illness we may contract. There was something very concerning about the taste of most everything. As an adult who loves chinese food from buffets, I ended up with white rice, potatoes and gummy worms for my almost $20 meal. Almost everything the adults tasted ended up being spit out into a napkin due to our gut feeling being this isnt safe to eat. It is the same as any other but the taste is concerning. The kids had pizza slices. Even the ice cream seemed a bit off, like perhaps the machine isnt clean. I did not use the bathroom but another adult did and they said they were not clean. I noted on the way out the water in the fish pond was even nasty. Dont learn like we did..$73 spent and ended up going to McDonalds on the way back to our hotel for food. Our waitress was attentive and kept the water glasses full. The gentleman at the grill that prepared the food was professional and kind.

This is my favorite restaurant. I’ve dined there so many times and I always have a great experience. Some days I only get the fresh and delicious healthier items, and other days I go all out. Some of my favorites are the sweet and sour, general tso’s, and chicken teriyaki. The price is very low for the variety and quality provided. The wait staff are kind and attentive. There is a relaxing atmosphere.

…the reviews for this place must be fake. The bathroom is disgusting. The server was VERY rude. The food is cold. I traveled from Flint, to try something new. Didn’t even open the straw to my drink, tried the chicken, rice and ragoon, and was so disappointed. Cold, old, and gross. And I went at peak lunch time. NEVER AGAIN!! TOLD OWNER AND LEFT. Have NEVER done that in my whole life…it was that bad!

Classic Chinese buffet that includes hibachi and sushi. Greeted pleasantly. Big spacious place, and many people there enjoying lunch, a weekday 2 p.m. Chopsticks are available near the sushi. Everything was good, the Mongolian Chicken was excellent. Great that they had seasonal fruit on the salad bar — blueberries in August in Michigan! I had blueberries with melon as my dessert. They also have cookies, brownies and soft-serve ice cream. Hot tea was hot, and the restroom had soap and towels. No complaints, left a tip for the waitperson.
