This is a great restaurant. I’ve been here several times and each time did not disappoint. The service is great, the atmosphere is great, the decor is great. All the little details are impressive.
The breakfasts are the best items in the menu. The burger was a bit disappointing, Red Robin and Stacks is better for less money. The coffee is really smooth, they coffee cakes are amazing.

Food was really good. Server showcased their assortment of coffee cakes if we wanted to order one. Tried the Sour Cream Walnut coffee cake. It was warm, moist, the right amount of sweetness on the topping and overall REALLY good. The kid’s chunky monkey pancakes was a hit with the littles. Got the Combo Club 2 (French toast with scrambled eggs and link sausages). It was good, but it’s not a typical French toast. They use a cinnamon swirl bread that is denser and thiner sliced that couldn’t capture French toast’s typical thick custardy center. I also couldn’t really taste the cinnamon filling in the bread. It not bad, just not my preferred French toast style. They were able to accommodate a small change in a scramble and tasted great! Pancakes were very fluffy, but the star of this order was the their homemade potatoes. Thinly sliced potatoes and fried up was DELICIOUS.
Service was very attentive (lots of coffee refills!), friendly and welcoming.
Stylish place in a cute location. Hard to find parking on a Sunday morning, though. No reservations. Would come again!

Best brunch in town with wonderful morning cocktails. The service here is also phenomenal. The servers assist each other and have their table work down to a science.

Pleasant and timely service. You are greeted with a platter of various coffee cakes to choose from. The hot apple cider was delicious.

Nothing ‘rusty’ nor ‘avian’ about the RUSTY PELICAN,m— a WONDERFUL restaurant in Mill Creek w its stylish, classic Sinatra ‘Big Band’ inspired decor.
Fantastic & cheerful service from knowledgeable people who really know the menu & seem to love their job and are able to highlight and articulate the restaurant’s strengths. Chef & kitchen staff over delivers in food quality & flavors.
Obviously a neighborhood favorite, as there was a line of people waiting outside the door 30 minutes before opening.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Rusty pelican is perfect for brunch. You cannot make reservations in advance, so you will have to go and add your name to the waitlist. There’s a lovely outdoors area where you can wait for your table. Service is great, food is excellent. I recommend the eggs, Benedict and all their egg dishes. If you go later in the day, you won’t be rushed to leave where us if you go earlier in the morning, you might feel a little bit pressured to vacant the table for the next guests. It’s a very busy place so not really quiet. I love their bread, selection and their cocktail selection.

Delicious Food & Great Service at Rusty Pelican!

We arrived at Rusty Pelican on a Saturday at 9:30 AM, and luckily, there was no wait for our party of four. I had read great reviews about their coffee cake, so I had to try it! We ordered the sour cream coffee cake, the lemon berry, and the berry coffee cake—each one was absolutely delicious.

I was also offered a raspberry coffee, which I had never heard of before, and I’m so glad I tried it—it was amazing! Unsure about the peppered gravy, I asked for a small sample, and our server was kind enough to bring me one. I ultimately decided to order the Pelican potatoes, which turned out to be the perfect choice since I was already so full from the coffee cake.

The service was excellent, with staff frequently checking on our water and coffee refills. The restaurant itself is cute and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There is parking available across the street and a little further down the complex, which is convenient.

Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend Rusty Pelican to others!

We really loved our breakfast at Rusty Pelican Cafe! The whole vibe of the restaurant is great, it’s very organized and clean, and it was decorated beautifully for the holidays. The menu is large and really has something for everyone. We got the Farmers Market and Crab Meat omelettes and they were absolutely delicious! We also appreciated being able to choose our sides. The servers are extremely friendly and our food arrived very quickly. We both felt this was the best breakfast we’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. Thank you for a great experience – we are excited to go back next time we’re in Woodinville!

I came across the Rusty Pelican by chance, and it turned out to be such a wonderful find. From the moment you arrive, there’s a welcoming and lively atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The coffee cakes are absolutely delicious, fresh, flavorful, and honestly worth coming back for on their own. The rest of the menu does not disappoint either. Every dish we tried was well prepared, satisfying, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.

What truly elevates the experience, though, is the service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and efficient, even when the restaurant is busy. You never feel rushed, and they do a great job of making sure guests are comfortable and taken care of.

It’s worth noting that the Rusty Pelican can get very busy on weekends, and the wait time to be seated can be quite long. However, the experience more than makes up for it. Once you’re seated and enjoying the food, it’s easy to see why so many people are willing to wait. Overall, the Rusty Pelican is well worth a visit, and I’d happily recommend it to anyone looking for great food, excellent service, and a place that truly lives up to its reputation.

We came here in a Sunday morning and were seated immediately. The service was top tier with suggestions for coffee and treats before we ordered.

The food was surprisingly good. Very solid options with reasonable portions. The coffee was also very delicious.

Combining the service, food, and price – this is a great value for a delicious breakfast out with friends and family in a great location.
