Food is usually great but today not so much. My husband has mentioned many time that the steak is too salty and he prefers to eat at Qdoba instead…. I should of listened. Usually I order the sweet pork smothered burrito but I, along with my mom decided to have steak smothered burritos. Let me tell you, I will never make that mistake again. The steak was super salty and it didn’t have the texture that steak or carne asada has. It was soft, almost similar to barbacoa and very salty…..Point being, I should of listened to my husband.

I bought the “take home” 1 lb of chicken. They put it in the container, then appeared to weigh it and then checked me out. When I got home, I weighed it (because I count calories) and it was only 11.6 oz. So more like 3/4 of a lb. I called the manager the next day to ask about this and she said “we don’t weigh it, we just fill the container.” Like I said, they appeared to weigh it by taking the container back behind the line and placed it on what appeared to be a scale…I even commented to the girl something like “you have a good eye,” assuming she achieved the 1 lb of weigh by eyeballing it. I don’t know, seems pretty deceiving to market it as 1 lb then really it’s just a whatever-size container they fill.

One of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had! Ordered a large chorizo breakfast burrito with green chile. The green chile has just the right amount of spice. The guacamole and salsa are great as well! Plenty of seating and ordering is the same style as chipotle or qdoba. Definitely recommend for breakfast!

The food is good but I won’t come back to this particular location. The person immediately started putting ingredients on my food before I could tell her that I’m allergic, I tried to catch her but it was too late. I was nice about it but she decided to catch an attitude about it and was rude throughout the entire interaction. Then decided to start complaining about me, in front of me, to get other coworker like I could hear her. I have very limited things that I can eat so it’s disappointing when I’m treated like this over something so easy to correct.

I wanted to share something I noticed during my recent trips to Cafe Mexicali in Greeley, mainly because I really do enjoy this restaurant and would like to see it grow and succeed. While sitting toward the back of the restaurant, I saw an employee coming back from the dish room vaping. I was behind a pillar, so I don’t think they realized they could be seen. During other visits I also noticed someone vaping in the office area right next to the cook area.
I know restaurant work is stressful, and I completely understand needing breaks, but vaping in or near food prep areas was concerning to see and doesn’t seem okay from a health code standpoint. I felt it was important to mention so it can be addressed.
I also want to mention that there are a few employees who have been genuinely kind, patient, and helpful, which I really appreciate. On the other hand, I have had interactions with other employees who seemed rude or impatient, which makes the environment feel inconsistent and stressful.
I’m sharing this respectfully and with good intentions, and I hope it is taken that way. But I do hope that these issued will be addressed.

Honestly considering naming my next two kids Sweet Pork and Creamy Habanero. This place is unreal. No fuss, friendly staff (surprising for what is likely one of the youngest workforces in town) and a clean dining area. Granted, we always come before dinner rush hits, but it’s still an awesome experience every time we visit.

The employees at the store are beyond rude. You can tell they don’t care about their jobs. They’re just standing there Making fun of every single customer in the store. And people know that they’re talking bad about them. It’s just sad. The food is amazing Definitely Overpriced but really good but the food could be the best food in the world and nobody wants to get made fun of while they’re sitting there trying to enjoy their meal. It’s a bad taste in your mouth Instantly And don’t even think about putting your Order in online because you never get what you ordered if you order extra meat you get less meat then if you were to just get one serving it’s just sad this place used to be amazing and they used to have the best employees and now it’s just gone downhill But if you want a side of shame with your burrito, then this might be the place to go

Me and my godson like going here because he just loves there burritos.
The employees are friendly. The food is really good the burritos are nice and fat, I know most people that can barely eat one, and then there’s those people who can eat it all and more so bring an appetite. The dining area could be a little bigger but it works out for small groups they have other things besides burritos and my family has never had any complaints and neither have I.

Sometimes staff can be a bit rude or simply will ignore customers for 5 or so minutes but I always get help eventually. Food always comes out hot and delicious so there’s not much to complain about. I would like it if they kept the place a little cleaner though. The floors and tables tend to be sticky.
