I visited this Krystal location today and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered the five-cheese Krystals and chili cheese fries combo, specifically asking for the food to be dropped fresh; however, what I received was the exact opposite. The Krystals were served cold, and the bread was noticeably stale and hard. Beyond the poor food quality, I was deeply concerned by the hygiene standards. The manager on duty appeared unclean and was handling food without gloves. I actually had to ask him to put on gloves before touching my order, which is unacceptable for anyone in food service, especially leadership. While the general service was fine, the horrible food delivery and lack of basic cleanliness made for a very poor visit.

I visited this location recently but will not visit it again. The service was excellent. Very nice young lady took my order promptly and it was prepared in a timely manner. The food was mostly atrocious. Cheese Krystal’s and fries were okay. Krystal Chick was not good at all. Chicken was dry and very tough. Corn pup and chili cheese pup were really bad too. The hotdog portion of each was like a regular hotdog chopped shorter than normal and the texture and flavor were really awful. There’s no Krystal where I live and I was just reminiscing about one that I frequently visited in NW GA about 2 years ago and thought I would stop in this one while driving through Norcross. I should have known better than to walk into a restaurant with an empty parking lot — not even an employee’s car — and no one in the drive-thru. My chili pup smelled like cigarette smoke, so I didn’t eat it and threw it away. The location on Holcomb Bridge Road and 400 was closed, for maintenance and something told me not to trust this location on 141
I watched the employees just sitting in the dining room because there were no customers. For a spot on a highway busy 141, that says a lot. I guess the locals knew something I didn’t. Two other cars pulled in around 5:30 p.m., saw there were no customers, and left — that should’ve been my clue, too.

I wanted to have a taste of Kristal on my last trip to Atlanta since they are no longer in Dallas. The first thing I noticed is that the restaurant was empty and it was around noon. The food was just okay, but not as tasty as it used to be. The restaurant was very clean but looked a bit outdated. The servers were nice and delivered my food in a timely manner.

Went through the drive thru the other day. Ordered a bowl of Chili and the 5 for 5 deal. Had to wait a bit, but the tots were very fresh, although there were very few of them. Felt like I was cheated. The chili cheese pups were very good, however the take out container was placed vertically in the bag so alot of cheese & chili ended up on the container as they rolled to the bottom. Place them horizontally or in a separate bag please. Cheese burgers were not good. Were not cooked enough so cheese was not melted. Were luke warm at best. Ended up feeding them to my . The chili was excellent. Nice and hot with plenty of oyster crackers. Really hit the spot. Will come back but not order the burgers.
