Our first time here, stopped for a coffee and to use the restroom ( lol) saw the menu and had to order!
The blueberry ricotta pancakes melt in your mouth so so good!
The potatoes seasoned and cooked to perfection! The bacon was also perfectly done with a nice smoky, not salty taste!
Jason was so friendly and attentive! He welcomed us back again to try lunch( Ruebens )
Can’t wait to go back!

Cafe Raymond is a Strip District staple, serving breakfast, brunch, and lunch daily! They use local, handmade, and fresh ingredients, taking pride in partnering with local vendors, farmers, artisans, and the hands that prepare each dish. Every plate reflects a commitment to tradition, freshness, and honest flavor.
I started with a peach Bellini and was so torn between breakfast and lunch—but ultimately went the lunch route. Honestly, all the sandwiches sounded AMAZING. I ordered the grilled corned beef Reuben and the rare roast beef, and both were outstanding. Sandwiches come with seasoned potatoes that are absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.
The space offers downstairs dining and bar seating, plus an upstairs area with additional seating—and in nice weather, an upper deck with great Strip District views. The staff is sweet, knowledgeable, and super helpful when it comes to questions or recommendations.
Highly recommend making this a stop the next time you’re in the Strip District!

We had a great meal at Cafe Raymond. They were easily able to accommodate gluten free also. The food was fresh, even the gf bread held up well and the potatoes were yummy!

This was a nice little place in the Strip District we stopped by while visiting Pittsburgh. It came highly recommended by a friend from the area who was able to join us for this brunch. We had to wait about 45 minutes on a Sunday, but it was worth it. They text you when your table is ready, so I recommend walking around to do some shopping while you wait for your table. We got seated upstairs, which was pretty spacious and less noisy, but still very eclectically decorated and comfortable. The food we ordered came out pretty quickly and was outstanding all around. The omelette was perfectly prepared and the home fries were uniquely cooked and very well seasoned. The blueberry ricotta pancakes were a big hit with our group. And to top it off, our server was super nice and attentive. Great visit all around!

What’s not to love. Everybody loves Raymond! The atmosphere is cute, the waitstaff is good and the food is absolutely the best breakfast food we’ve ever had! Croissant sandwich was huge but fresh, flavorful and bacon was fried to perfection. I had Guy’s breakfast which was great but the lemon ricotta pancakes were delectable. Perfection, thanks Chef!

I stopped in on a Saturday morning for breakfast and I was impressed with everything about the restaurant up until getting my food.
The orange juice. Was that shelf stable? Kind that you buy from Aldi’s and the blueberry ricotta pancakes were extremely dry and the bacon was very very chewy.
Definitely not worth $25

I loved the blueberry ricotta pancakes!!! WOW!!! The bacon and potatoes were also delicious!! Everyone at the table loved their food. We waited 30 mins for a table on a Saturday morning at 10 AM, but didn’t mind because we got to walk around the strip while we waited. It was busy but the food turned out perfectly. Not your average diner food. Will definitely be back!

4th of July breakfast stop. Nice little place very warm and friendly. The bar wood is beautiful. It was definitely busy so we had to sit at the bar or hang and wait for a table. We got the French toast with strawberry compote. Mia our server was hustling to take care of the entire room. Food came out quick and had a different look but great taste! We definitely want to come back and try lunch or dinner.

Very, very nice cafe. Great spot for a relaxed breakfast or brunch, with many of the breakfast classics and some of their own delicious spins. They are best known for their ricotta blueberry pancakes, which I tried alongside their croissant breakfast sandwich.
First, the pancakes. These were definitely quite good. Tons of real blueberries (whole little pieces) all through a fluffy pancake. And, they make their own syrup as well! I will say, I would have preferred a stronger ricotta flavor to cut some of the sweetness. But, they were still very good pancakes.
The croissant sandwich came with egg and cheese, as well as a side of home fries. They cooked the eggs perfectly, and included just the right amount of cheese. Their default is a fried egg (you can see they got the yolk just right), but personally, I prefer scrambled eggs. You can ask for scrambled eggs for no charge, so next time I will do so. It was a super flavorful sandwich! Really nice and buttery croissant as well.
The potatoes were also very good. Cooked well and seasoned to perfection. I’m surprised as to how much flavor this side had! They salted it quite a bit too.
All in all, I really liked this spot. Nice portions (the croissant was huge and so were the pancakes), prices were reasonable, and quality was excellent. Would definitely go back!
