Reviews
The food was okay, but probably 40% more than what you would expect to pay for a diner. If they are aiming for more upscale, they missed. Judging by the low number of diners, I am guessing the community agrees.
Since the place is owned by the same owner as Eggs Up Grill, I was expecting a much better dining experience. It was kind of amateurish, almost like a family bought it and said let’s give it a try. The staff was friendly enough, but honestly I do not see how they make a go of it. I give them a year at most, unless significant changes are made.
Edit: If this was inaccurate, you would be open in the in the mornings serving breakfast. But you are not.The last review besides mine shows breakfast. Therefore the good reviews are from a diner that does not serve breakfast anymore.
My partner got sausage links that were barely cooked. The pancakes were burnt on one side. The home fries were burnt as well. So beware
$32 for breakfast with my husband and son seemed wild for the low quality food served….
Even though it was very busy on my visit, the service was great.
I had breakfast. Ordered the rise an shine, which is 3 eggs, grits, sausage, and 2 biscuits and gravy! Quite the meal! I saw they have corned beef hash as a side order.
Being that’s one of my favorites I had to try it. It was cooked just right, crispy on the outside, and potato chunks just the right size inside!
Look forward to my next visit
