Was looking for a burger and found this place. It reminded me of the kind of local hangout. I liked the atmosphere. Our service was very good and our burgers were fantastic. There were 4 of us and we each ordered a different burger. I ordered a Dirty South burger and loved it. Everyone loved their burger. We enjoyed cold beers on tap. I didn’t think their fries were that special. I would suggest they make their fries differently and then they would have no competition. Let me say I would still drive 50 miles just for the burger. I highly recommend.

The smash burger and hot wings were delicious, but my side fries were cold. The service was horrible. Our server Gabriella’s personality was so dry and miserable. The restaurant was very slow and after delivering our food she went back to the bar to talk and never came back to check on us. My drink was empty and instead of offering a refill she asked us if we wanted the check? We tried being friendly, saying please and thank you, as well as positively commenting on the menu, but she seemed annoyed and short. This was our first time visiting this restaurant, as it was recommended to us by a friend who goes often. Honestly we found the food was good, but her personality and service made us never want to go there again. Hopefully in the future if we decide to try this place again we will be treated with more respect and friendliness.

601 Burgers & Brew has easily become my favorite restaurant in the area. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere hits you first—clean, warm, and welcoming, with that perfect mix of a laid-back vibe and a place that still feels special enough for a night out. The food is on another level. The burgers are cooked exactly how you want them, packed with flavor, juicy, and never overdone. Everything tastes fresh, and you can tell they take real pride in their menu. Even the sides feel like a step above the usual—crispy fries, great seasoning, and portions that actually fill you up.
But what really sets this place apart is the service. I’ve had a lot of servers at a lot of restaurants, and Emersyn is genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had. She was friendly, patient, and super attentive without ever hovering. She checked in at the perfect times, made great recommendations, and made the whole experience feel personal. You can tell she actually cares about her tables and wants people to have a great time. It makes a huge difference when someone brings that level of energy and professionalism.
Between the awesome food, the great atmosphere, and service that honestly beats most restaurants around here, 601 Burgers & Brew deserves every bit of recognition they get. If you haven’t been yet, go—you’ll end up making it your go-to spot like I did. And if you’re lucky enough to get Emersyn as your server, you’re in for a top-tier experience.

Stick to burgers. If you’re going to offer sides then yall need to go back to basics. Onion rings should be seasoned, fryer oil needs to be changed regularly and I’d advise it’s not a good business practice to reheat French fries in the fryer after they’ve gone cold. They just get oil logged.. Mac and cheese should at a minimum have salt and pepper.. otherwise, the burger was delicious.

The food was amazing! I had the Old Glory burger with bacon cheddar fries and we also had the fried pimento cheese with sweet chili sauce as well and it was amazing! Great service and great atmosphere and definitely will return!

The burger are decent, definitely had better. We’ve had a lot worse. The Rosemary garlic fries are really good. They missed the boat with the onion rings, It’s a bar, Why not have beer battered onion rings? The onion rings tasted like they needed seasoning, Just tasted like onions battered in plain flour. The red head waitress was super nice and was the best part of the meal.

Absolutely the NASTIEST food we have ever tried to eat!!!! The plumbing in the bathroom was running into the floor and not into the drain lines so I told the waitress and she just shrugged her shoulders and said OK! I guess if you want to walk in your own waste and eat food that taste worse than than smell then I suggest you give them a try.

Husband and I stopped in to try this place. We were in the building all of 2 minutes and there was a fight between what we assume were employees (they ran out the back to fight) that were drinking. They were throwing chairs and cussing each other so loudly and all the wait staff and bartender did were laugh. We felt uncomfortable after our drinks and appetizer was ordered that we cancelled our order and left. The waitress still told us we had to pay for the drinks and food even though we had just ordered and only one sip of a sweet tea had been taken. Definitely will never be back and cannot believe anyone would allow this to happen in their restaurant.

First time dining here & it did not disappoint! The burgers were amazing, wait staff was great & on point! I got the mushroom & Swiss it was delicious. My friend got the Mo-Town it was delicious as well we will definitely be back! It’s worth the 40 minute drive!
