Tommy’s is hands down one of my favorite spots in Blue Island. Wednesday nights with DJ Big Mike (starting at 9PM) are unmatched. Zero drama, just good vibes and non-stop jams from the 90s, 2000s, and today. It is the perfect midweek escape from the pressures of the world and honestly a mental health boost every single time.
The Long Island is the ONLY drink you need. There is a small cover charge on Wednesdays and Fridays, but it is very reasonable and well worth it. Friday nights with DJ Tim (also 9PM) bring a completely different but equally amazing vibe. He blends R&B, soul, and hip hop across eras in a way that gets all age groups moving.
Food-wise, the chicken wraps are my go-to and never disappoint. I have been to Tommy’s a couple dozen times now, and every single visit has been consistently fun and memorable. If you are looking for a spot with great music, great people, and a reliable good time, Tommy’s is it.

During special events your establishment should have someone helping with crowd control outside. I stood in line for the Bears Championship game for an hour for others to walk up and say their with the party ahead of me but when the doors open everyone scatter to save seats. Ridiculous.

I simply love Tommys Place. The staff there are friendly and professional. I want to give a special thanks to the cook who catered my event. The lasagna and chicken was delicious. The website states no reservations but when I went in all the tables have a reserved label on them, including the bar. What a joke of a bar. Stools they had for seating were damaged which made it hard to sit.

Very nice establishment to host your party, or to hang out with friends/family. A nice adult atmosphere, friendly staff, food and drinks are good and affordable. Good music, they have parking located in the back, or you have the option to park in the carwash adjacent to Tommy’s after 8pm. I will definitely be going back!!!

I like to go here for the karaoke on Wednesdays and drink specials! The WINGS ARE SOOOOOO ADDICTIVE! pizza is awesome but the pictures of your drink choice was once 5$ but unfortunately due to inflation they ate now 8$ still a steal trust me

So I’ve been here a few times always enjoyed the music n the other patrons however if you don’t know the bartenders they tend to be rude and mean you have to wait to long to get a drink ( a premade long island) is what I typically get and even that is a long process very much bad service. But this happens Each and every time I get the same treatment from both ladies behind the bar and I just don’t think that’s cool but I tried to come dance and bring some friends to enjoy the experience but when we got there last fri Aug 1 we were turned around I guess prior something happened so they closed for the entire weekend which by the way was my birthday so it’s safe to say I was highly disappointed and sad.
