It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. Choice steaks cut fresh daily and cooked over an open flame, fresh seafood, and premium craft soup and salads prepared fresh daily.

We love that there is a Sizzler nearby. We came for the all you can eat salad bar. The salad bar is huge with plenty of vegetables. We ate a lot of chicken wings and salad but my favorite was the clam chowder which I had two bowls. Everything was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will return soon.

Unfortunately, our visit was not the most pleasant. We had two orders of steak requested medium, but both came out well done. One was so well done that it was borderline inedible. We didn’t even try to have it remade because it looked like the place was short staffed and we had to leave. The waitstaff were nice but were busy and hard to get a hold of. I’m embarrassed to say that some of the patrons were less than courteous at the salad buffet. Basic etiquette is not difficult.

We haven’t been to a Sizzler in quiet some time. I had the salad bar but it seems like there is less options then before. Wings were salty, sala was too spicy but overall was ok. Wife had the steak & shrimp platter but was shorted the amount of shrimp. Daughter had the bacon burger which was just the standard burger. It took quite some time for food to be served without a large crowd. Server was very nice, polite and professional. Standard atmosphere for a Sizzler. Nothing changed since the last time we patronize this restaurant.

My grandson and I visited the restaurant in Manteca the atmosphere was amazing beautiful interior. We live 75 miles south west and haven’t been to Sizzler this nice. The staff and server were extremely accommodating. The steak and salmon dishes were cooked to perfection. I enjoyed a glass of Merlot. It was so good we went back the next day for more of the garlic mashed potatoes. Wish they were closer

We come here to celebrate my mother. Food is average and steaks are a little below average. I typically get the steak (medium rare) and ayce shrimp. When I get my food, the steak is cooked well done. The service is great though. Staff are always very nice.

horrible service, cashier wasn’t nice, waiter very very slow and wasn’t attentive, didn’t get drinks correct. Will not be returning because of the horrible service the cashier insisted i choose a side i said i didn’t want a side he wouldn’t complete my order until I choose a side. my mother n law whose birthday we were celebrating had to go track the waiter down for more drinks and shrimp. the salad bar ran out of chicken wings and never got replenished the whole time we were there. we were there last year and the service was horrible as well. we thought that maybe service got better but it didn’t so we won’t be returning.

Food was good drinks were on point! Our server Alexia was super bubbly and really walked me and my fiance through the drink menu and we were shocked at how good the drinks deals were. As a fellow restaurant ASM I really didn’t have complaints, it had been a while since I visited a Sizzler and I’ll definitely be coming back ! This is the best place to boost your energy with a freshly prepared Sizzler’s salad bar. They are offering it since 1970’s and are still in business. According to their website majority of the items are non-GMO. And, i believe them, because after eating at this restaurant, i do not feel sick or tired. In contrary, i feel very energetic and i do not need to test myself for food allergies. Also, all you can eat salad bar has more then just salad. There are soups, meats, beans, ice creams and much more. They offer 3 kinds of soups made from scratch. Staff members are alert, helpful and quick in your needs.They always bring you extra plate in no time. For seniors there are some discounts. The place was not crowded at all which is a big surprise for me. For the same amounts of food you eat here, you might have to pay double elsewhere. The price is higher in other places because other places include in your bill a fee for renting chair and table. Not here!! Come here soon!!!

It’s all you can eat (Salad+crunchy Taccos and Icecream) for $16 (including tax) which is fair. The quality of salad is good and I liked the soup also.
*The only thing that can make this a better salad bar is to have more variety of fruit and veggies, like I enjoy oranges, pineapple and Brussel sprouts and cabbages and etc also if they could have it*

I usually love sizzler but at least at the time I went it was seriously understaffed. I asked 3 times for another salad plate which never arrived. Even after going to the front they didn’t help. Their help was passing the message to the already non responsive server. Anyways I don’t see another visit from me anytime. Correction I did received a plate but that was after 25 minutes.
