I hope I can leave another review, because we’ve generally had better experiences, but had to wait over an hour for this French dip which is absolutely pathetic. Who would pay $22 for this? I’m embarrassed for the establishment

I like this place a lot more as I have gone more frequently for birthday gatherings. I think the food is great, but for the price, it can be difficult to justify. When we sit by the bar, the service is a bit slow, but typically when you are seated anywhere else, the service tends to be quite a lot quicker. Drinks are always good and the environment is very cozy.

The Montana Club is our “go-to” for special occasions, especially birthdays. Whoever’s birthday it is gets a discount on their meal that matches their age. Bring your I.D. and show up on your birthday. We’ve done that for family birthdays for at least 15 years.
They’ve got servers who’ve been there as long as we’ve been going there. Hanna has been there all these years and is as positive and efficient as she was on day one. Jake and Buddy have also been there for a long time. They all provide excellent, friendly service and are fast.
Their menu has favorites we get each time.
We used to go to Montana Club every week after ballet, but they’ve raised their prices so much that we frequent two other restaurants across the street weekly and only go to Montana Club for birthdays and days Hanna is working once every couple months. Other restaurants nearby haven’t raised their prices to the extent that Montana Club has, and are taking their business.
That said, for birthdays and special occasions such as Thanksgiving, Montana Club is well worth the price and highly recommended. If you’re on a budget, but want to experience the atmosphere- their house soups are fantastic and affordable, as is their side salad. Their waffle sweet potato fries are delicious and a good substitute for regular fries with sandwiches and burgers.
Lobster fest is a must! If you’re in the area for lobster fest, it’s highly recommended.

I like this place. The service was amazing.
The cheese curds were nicely fried though lacking a bit of flavor.
The mac and cheese is creamy, cheesy and had a really nice flavor. One of the best restaurant mac and cheese I have ever had. The steak strips added to the mac and cheese were tender and had a nice flavor.
The corn chowder was rich with plenty of corn and other veggies. I enjoyed it.
The Prime dip was pretty decent but not the best out there.
There fries were crisp.

We just dined and had such a great experience, our waiter was very attentive and the food was amazing. Highly recommend the halibut shrimp pasta with the red pepper sauce wow. I forgot our waiters name but he did so well and was sat quite a few tables at once and he handled it so well as someone who has been a waitress. We sat by the windows. We will be back and thank you!

I ordered from the part of the menu with smaller portions. I paid under $20 for a dinner salad, steak and asparagus! Great tasting food. There are lots of other options on the menu as well.
We didn’t have a reservation, but i would recommend one especially between 6 and 8 p.m.

Food was great. Good beef flavor. I had the Angus burger full Monte and it was delicious. It did take quite a while before our food arrived. Not sure what the problem was no explanation was offered as to why it took so long to get our food.

The Cowboy Burger is INCREDIBLE! Look at that beauty! We got the Bison steak to which only comes in 12 oz instead of smaller options but you guyssss GET IT! Thank me later.
Only complaint if I had to give one was that it felt super cold in there! We brought blankets in from our car and were not the only ones. Our waitress changed the thermostat after seeing our blankets! We didn’t say anything though because if everyone else was comfortable, I didn’t want the thermostat to change just for us! But they must have felt that it was too cold too. Anyways. GREAT FOOD!

This is my new favorite restaurant in Montana. I was floored with everything we ate. Caramel Bacon Cheese Curds?! Totally bomb. I had a steak with creamy garlic button mushrooms. Those were to die for. I can’t wait to get back in there.

This is our normal go to spot for dinner when we come into town. This is unfortunately the 3rd time we have received subpar service and the food took a significant ampunt of time to come out for a not busy Wednesday night. While waiting almost 45 min for food our server checked on us once, we had to ask multiple times for refills. After arriving most of our food was lukewarm, our cheese fries had solidified and our server didn’t come by once to ask if everything was okay. The food was generally good minus the poor service, however we will be finding a new go to spot after giving this one last chance.
