We got some takeout to go and ordered some hibachi as well as some sushi rolls. Everything was cooked well. I was a little disappointed in the size of the portions. The flavor was good. There’s not much of an eating area in the restaurant itself. I would recommend getting your food to go. Sushi tasted good to me.

We’ve been ordering sushi from here for a couple of years, never had a problem until now. Most of our mango avocado and California rolls had rotting avocado. Not just vascular leaching – a lot of brown, slimy, and even black avocado. Attaching a photo of some of the rolls but I didn’t get a photo of the worst of it. I tried reaching out to Hibachi Sushi before reviewing and received no response.

It’s edible. I would describe it as one step up from mall food court hibachi. If you’re hungry you will be satisfied and the taste will be good enough. With some changes this place has potential to be great with their food, but isnt quite there. I ordered the salmon and shrimp hibachi, the salmon wasn’t a full filet, it was unfortunately a slither of a filet. At least it had decent flavor and the skin was kept on it. The veggies were soggie in juice and the rice was just okay, but tasted better once I added the salad dressing yum yum. The shrimp was a nice size and well cooked, but could br greater. Since when does salad go in a cup? Lastly, the portion does not match the price. For almost the same price down the road I could get better flavor and a bigger portion.

This place was a pleasant surprise! We’re not hugely impressed by most Chesterfield Asian food restaurants, but the price was fair for the portion, the food was satisfying (though I think some things that are vegetarian are still cooked with oils used for meats, solely based on the taste of our fried rice) and the sushi was actually very good! The hibachi box combos I personally enjoyed though my wife was less impressed (as a vegetarian). I personally would be happy to go again soon!

This is the BEST takeout hibachi & sushi joint in Chesterfield. We always stick to shrimp or chicken hibachi (ordered during lunch & dinner) and it never disappoints; their ginger dressing is refreshing & flavorful. For sushi we usually get the California roll, shrimp tempura & volcano roll, they are always well made ( example: the cucumber is diced to matchsticks instead of chunks) to us it’s those little things that take them above the rest, the food speaks for itself. Always consistent and reasonably priced for the portions they provide. Will go back again and again!

I ordered steak and scallops hibachi lunch. The scallops tasted a little bit like ammonia which means either they’re bad or they will definitely be bad tomorrow and they where not cooked properly, a little on the undercooked rubbery side. The steak very tiny pieces, which explains why they didn’t ask me how I wanted my meat cooked. The take out tray has a lot of liquid in it. And they gave me 1/2 cup of rice with 3 cups veggies, 3/4 funnyvtasting scallops and tiny pieces of steak. If I’m sick later I will definitely understand why and where it came from.

Place an online order through doordash for fresh sushi. The sushi rice was at least a day old and crunchy, it’s supposed to be warm fresh and soft this was not. In addition to the salmon lunch I also ordered the Boston roll which is shrimp tempura and asparagus which it had neither just avocado and old cold shrimp.. I’ve been ordering religiously from this restaurant for more than a year and a half if the service delivers bad food again I will never eat here again

I paid $50 for Food that was bland.. The salmon was toooo fishy and WAYYY OVERCOOKED the steak was idk not good and it was a lot of liquid in tray.. Only thing that was decent was the rice/noodles…. Definitely not worth the money I spent
