W.O.W. Don’t miss the opportunity to eat at the best restaurant in Aberdeen, which also happens to be the first Peruvian place in South Dakota! Ambiance, drinks, steak, paella, dessert…extraordinary. Let’s start with ambiance, warm inviting and modern with friendly staff greeting you and providing the best experience possible. Select a drink and a starter and just relax either alone or on a date, this is where you can unwind at the end of the day or find a spark entertaining a date. The ribeye was AMAZING. Tender, perfectly cooked, and topped with just the right amount of chimichurri, paired with choices of sautéed vegetables, rice or crispy potato chunks. Of course, I chose double potato and of course, they were perfectly fried and salted….Paired with a red wine that went well with my entrée. I was also impressed with how well it went with my dessert which was a Peruvian sweet rice with South Dakota grown purple corn. Very warm and lightly spiced flavors that took me back to Tennessee in the Winter. My only regret was missing this spot for the last 30 days before my leave from SD. This is a Gem. Be sure to check out Cuzco weather in town for a night, a month or the long haul.

Amazing service, outstanding menu (not to big), and fantastic food. Everything we tried was a hit. I would go out of my way to go back to Aberdeen to eat there again. What a surprising cultural and culinary treat in an odd spot.
The owner was very kind and social, the restrooms were very clean and the atmosphere was newly constricted and fresh. Upon discussion a lot of intentions for the menu were mentioned, along with special events and upcominglimited menus to keep things exciting and upbeat.
Don’t miss it!

Stopped in for Burger battle. Nice interior. Staff friendly and welcoming. We only tried the burger, but are excited to go back and try a full meal. The Lion Burger came with the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. The burger was simple, but the patty and it’s seasoning was the showcase and one of the best in the battle. Worth visiting!

Hidden Gem in Aberdeen – Cuzco Delivers!
If you ever find yourself in Aberdeen, South Dakota—or you’re lucky enough to live here—you have to give Cuzco a try. This place is truly a hidden gem in a small but mighty town!
We came in with a large group, and the staff handled everything flawlessly. The service was friendly and efficient, even with another big party of ten dining at the same time. Everyone looked happy and well taken care of.
The food was amazing—you can tell the chef puts real passion into every dish. We ordered all the appetizers (minus the seafood ones for me due to an allergy), and the rest of the group said they were fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned.
I went with the Ribeye, and wow—it was a huge portion, definitely big enough to share! It came with rice and potato wedges that were crispy, seasoned just right, and absolutely delicious. The rice was also cooked perfectly.
Several others in our group ordered the Surf & Turf and the Picanha, and everyone raved about how good they were.
And then… dessert! Hands down the best desserts I’ve had in Aberdeen. Do yourself a favor and try the lemon cake—it’s incredible.
All in all, Cuzco is a must-visit spot whether you’re just passing through or looking for a great night out. The owner is friendly, welcoming, and truly cares about her customers.
Great food, great service, and a great atmosphere—what more could you ask for?

This is the first time I have tried Peruvian cuisine and I’m so glad I came to Cuzco Peruvian. The atmosphere is so nice and the food is incredible. The rice pudding is the best I’ve ever had. And the chupe de camarones soup was fantastic!

Came here with a pheasant hunting group from Florida. The food was delicious. I had the Picanha and we all had several of the appetizers which were really good. My personal favorite was the Yucca! Hopefully we will be back again next year.

Cuzco was soooooo yummy! I got the Pisco Sour which was perfect. I don’t typically drink, yet I loved every sip of this drink. I also got the Chupe de Camarone’s and the pappardelle Huanacaina crowned with chicken and a side of the Roscas. All of it was a 10/10. The staff were super friendly and nice, and they gave me great suggestions for what to order. Lastly, I got the Mazamorra combinada for dessert. I’ve never had rice pudding like that before, and the flavor was so rich and sweet. The decor was so beautiful as well. Definitely recommend coming here for a yummy and hearty meal.
