I have to update my review, this is the second time I’ve came here since the new owner took over Michael. These are the sweetest people ever. I just wanted to cry. They sat with me. They laughed with me. They talked to me. They gave me samples of their delicious, unique desserts. I highly recommend coming to this establishment if you’re looking for an amazing time with great people and great food. Thank you so much absolutely love everyone here
This used to be Sally’s when I went once. It was awful and not very clean. The new owners eats & sweets by Michael really made a difference. They are nice, welcoming, service is GREAT, food is huge portions. I really didn’t like a previous comment about speaking English, rude and racist but not surprised given the area . These people are sweet and deserving of so much business! Thank you for a wonderful breakfast. I will return! My waitress Katie is an absolute sweetheart!

We were very surprised on our first visit to Sweets and Eats by Michael! The food was Awesome!! I had a breakfast skillet in which I was able to pick the ingredients I wanted over delicious home fries & cheese! it also came with toast of your choice. The prices were extremely reasonable! The service was perfect & the owner Michael was friendly & made sure we were happy with the food. The waitress was right on & very sweet!!

Michael is amazing. Such sweet service. Gave us a free sample of the best baklava I’ve ever tasted. Generous food portions excellent service. The baked goods are wonderful. Home made European tarts brownies eclairs. We tried them all!! Reasonable priced as well. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great breakfast. Our new go to.

We stopped there because it looked like it had potential for our last meal before heading to the airport to go back to Europe and let me tell you we were NOT disappointed. It was the perfect place to end our trip.
The staff was super friendly, especially Jerrica who took our order and cared for us, she actually made us feel appreciated and welcome. The atmosphere was amazing and totally what we expected a diner in Florida to be like.
I have no words to express how grateful we are for the service we received.
On top of that, the other clients were also super friendly and warm and the homemade apple pie is actually the best I’ve ever tasted.
I definitely recommend this place, 10/10.

We’ve eaten here when it was Sally’s and placed to go orders mostly over the last months. Today, we finally went in to dine. The new owner is very friendly and our meals came out pretty quickly…still good portions & prices. We’re excited to try their baked goods and look forward to their variety of pastries.

Not bad. Confusion between our waiter and the waitress. We don’t think the waiter understood English. Food pretty good. My wife did not like the Gyro sandwich. Portions were fine. No water served. Cold Slaw not good, could not eat it. It took a long time to get our bills straightened out. Miss communication between the waiter and waitress. She forgot to take my money. Ambience, none. We wish them luck with the new business. Sorry, my wife and I won’t be back. Too much confusion. We left a generous tip.

This place is great. We stopped by on our way back to Orlando from visiting Blue Springs State Park to see the Manatees preserve, which was really nice, too.
I had the three cheese grilled sandwich, and my table mates had a half turkey melt and a burger.
The grilled cheese was delicious, seasoned well, crispy bread, and yummy melty cheese. Two of us go the sweet potato fries and one got the French fries.
The burger is offered in 5 or 10 ounce, and the difference is only a dollar or so, but the 5oz is the perfect size, unless you’re a big eater.
Everything was fresh and well prepared, the place is clean and the staff are very friendly. They all look like they’ve been here for years.
They have a pie and cake display cabinet that looks fantastic, but we held back because it was lunch and we wanted to save our calories for dinner.
The menu is vast and they’re very flexible about substitutions, and they serve breakfast all day if that’s what you’re looking for.

Very impressed with this little place! Great hometown breakfast and lunch restaurant. Good home southern cooking. Loved their cheesy Grits! I had the corned beef hash and eggs with a side of cheesy Grits. I got a couple of homemade peanut butter cookies on my way out the door. It really tells you alot when the parking lot is always full! I can’t wait to go back!
