Quaint coffee shop with breakfast pastries & a menu of elevated New American lunches & dinners.

I love this place. The food is high level for being tucked away like it is. Its small and intimate, and somehow I magically always manage to get a spot to sit. This time I went and had the fries which were fabulous… but the TRUE show stopper was the chocolate cake. HOLY FREAKING MOLY. This is hands down the best cake I have ever had.
Cannot speak highly enough about it.

I ordered the fried chicken wrap on their lunch menu and i noticed that the chicken was disappearing in every other bite. i opened up the wrap to find four pieces of (looked like readymade frozen?)chicken nuggets in the tortilla… very confused to say the least
i also wanna add that the person taking my order stood there on his phone for a good 5mins before noticing i was ready to order service is mid af i feel like i shouldn’t have tipped

This pastry… AMMMAAAZZINGG… 10/10
Coffee was ok & French toast was perfect. But, the bowl, the bowl was SO under seasoned. Well cooked, but unsalted veggies is too disappointing to not deduct a star.
The attached shop was a fun little spot with some cool art and vintage pieces. Not all of it local, but all worth checking out.

Very disappointed, as this is about the third time I’ve been here and it used to be a good place to eat. They gave us something called hash which was basically poached eggs on tater-tots for $17! I had bagel with lox which was good. You order at the counter and bus your table, so staff interaction is minimal. They gave us our money back for the tater-tot hash thing, but it’s doubtful we’ll be back. You may have better luck.

We really enjoyed the vibes here. Everyone in our family was happy with the food that they ordered and there was plenty of seating on a late weekday lunch.
In my opinion, it was a bit pricey for a place where things are self-service/bus your own table. We spent $56 for a family of 4. No drinks ordered, just self-service water, and we ordered a chicken sandwich, bowl of soup of the day, BLT, and one order of macaroni and cheese. The food was seriously delicious though! Everyone really enjoyed their meals.
Worth noting is that the portions were far larger than we expected.

We had a delicious and delightful dinner. Erin was our server. Our cocktails were tasty and the food was truly delicious!! Menu is eclectic. Highly recommend the Gyoza and the chicken sandwich!! Grab some pastries on your way out the door!! We had them at midnight and WOW!! Best carrot cake ever!! So moist and flavorful!!

Ordered a bbq pork burger that was actually really good but for $18 should probably come with a side. Not a huge fan of places that have order at the counter and bus your own tables but expect a 25% tip automatically. It was pretty chilly inside too but overall a good experience, just slightly overpriced for having no sides or service. Great place for people with allergies!

Stopped in for a quick bite on a cold winters day and this place did not disappoint! We weren’t super starving so we decided to split the butternut squash soup, which was absolutely the right call. It was hot, hearty, and plenty for two people to share – they even gave us extra sourdough bread. The cafe is super cute and linked to a cocktail bar with extra seating on the left and a local retail store on the right with even more seating and super cute local/handmade souvenirs. Overall this place was great and I definitely recommend. Thanks, Astoria Coffee House & Bistro!

Breakfast is hard to find when you are gluten and dairy free, but this place made substitutions where necessary and had gluten free bagels for their sandwich options. Overall rather simple food but I was glad to have an option. We loved the seating by the open garage door.

The salmon hash was recommend here so we got it and a breakfast sandwich. Unfortunately the hash was mediocre at best, put on some hot sauce and it became ok. The fish was overpowering and the onions and peppers just added to the bitterness, the only thing that was surprisingly good was the hollidice sauce. The sandwich was good, think a upscaled egg McMuffin with a scrambled egg.
Unfortunately the place is not will kept as they seem under staffed and you are supposed to bus your own table, or in our case bus the table for the last people that used the table.
