Did a take out order this morning since it’s close to my house I wanted to give it a try and my experience with it was that the tamales were okay the flavor wasn’t bad but they were pretty small , the menudo was pretty disappointing , it didn’t taste bad it was just really bland and watery which surprised me because none of the pictures people post looked like the menudo I got it was 90% hominey and the color was off like more watery then anything and just bland , beans were good , rice was okay and the chili sauce was okay . Over all maybe a 3/10 .

Seated fairly quickly. Excellent service. Had a #10 combo plate. Everything on the plate was good except the chile relleno (tasted frozen and reheated). Thought the tamale tasted better here than at another location, good balance between the meat and corn masa.

I ordered the bean and beef burrito smothered to go and when I got home. The beef looked really weird and there was no beans in it. I’m confused when I actually ordered a bean and beef burrito, and there was no beans in it and it was the worst burrito I’ve ever tasted. It didn’t even taste fresh or homemade. my stomach’s upset after eating the burrito! i’m very disappointed!! I will not be going back to that tamale kitchen again. i’m really disappointed in the quality of the taste and the freshness of the burrito.. Tamale kitchen needs to do better and they advertise on their building that They have the best Mexican food. Please take that down. That’s a joke.

This used to be a great place to eat. My work group ordered and 3 of the five were ill after our lunch. In the plates the beans were very dry (old) as well as smothered fries were old. Very disappointed ! What happened to the food.

I went in there about 2 days ago and ordered a combination plate. The food was good but the rice was “HORRIBLE”, it was very crunchy. As if it was saved and left over from a couple of days and reheated. I also order 3 ‘Bean and cheese mexican egg rolls”, these are one of my favorite items on the menu. The person taking my order got it wrong and gave me 3 “Beef and cheese mexican egg rolls”. No big deal because they are always good, except this time. The meat in the egg roll was so hard and burnt, the meat was very obvious it was reheated from another day. I also had a taco from the combination plate that I had and the beef inside the taco was the same way, hard and not worth eating. I threw away most of my order. Tamale Kitchen I have always enjoyed there food but at this location, beware.

Most disgusting place I’ve had so far. I paid $18 for the “Nacho Supreme” and a soda. Took one bite and immediately regretted it. The guacamole was brown inside and out, and there was red dots in the food. My order had absolutely nothing in it that would make it red so I almost threw up thinking it was blood. So disgusting, I pray everyone steers far from this place.

Great old school joint! Low prices, terrific enchiladas, great staff, cheap drinks. I’ve had better tamales, but they have a bunch of different types at good prices. Their chips have always tasted stale to me, I assume because they leave them out in a big bin.

Something told me to turn around and walk the hell out. The tamales were horrible when they got them right the second time. The tamales was full of salt so where the beans. How do you charge $25 for a tamale breakfast meal and not give someone at least a couple of flour tortillas without them paying for it. Please people clean the walls and the glass that place is disgusting. I was trying to support my people but come on this is just plain lazy. Every time I pass by I surely won’t stop.

Horrible customer service. They did not add everything that was ordered on our food. Claimed it was an issue through Uber eats. They did not try to fix any issues. Absolutely will never consider this place again. Try Gomez , they have some of the best food around and they are literally less then a block away going south.
