I normally don’t leave bad reviews… but this one is a must.. I have celiac disease and I came to this restaurant based on they claim most things are gluten free. I ordered and verified with the waitress that everything cooked was separate and clean… A few bites Into my meal she comes out at says its all cooked in the same food oil.. Needless to say it ruined my weekend with getting glutened because of this claims and miss information. The restaurant throws out gluten free like a buzz word, with no care for the actually meaning. If this was a peanut allergy I would be in the hospital. Careless! Im sure its a fine restaurant if you have no allergies or celiac, but do not come here if you do… Nothing like tripple checking and still getting sick!

Arempas midvale is one of my favorite places to eat. Everyone there is so nice and friendly. It’s more convenient than the downtown location and I think the food typically is a little fresher. I also love that nearly the entire menu is gluten-free. I recommend it to everyone I know.

Amazing food — always so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious and clearly made with care. The flavors are vibrant, and the ingredients taste incredibly fresh. I especially love the plantains — perfectly cooked every time! My only small wish is that they offered a tomato-based spicy oil sauce to go with them; that would take it to the next level. Overall, highly recommend for anyone who loves fresh, authentic food.

We enjoyed this restaurant. We visited for the first time, soon after it opened. The service was quick. The portions were adequate and filling. It is pricey but it’s a nice over all first time experience, like in our case trying Venezuelan food for the first time.

The folks at the Midvale Arempas are great. Very friendly staff who make you feel like family, and the food is awesome. The restaurant is nice and clean. The pabellon empanada is what angels, unicorns, and elves eat when they’re passing through. Try the chimichurri with the garlic or avocado sauce if you like a little kick. Super good.

I visited this past weekend and I want to go back. The chicken soup is absolutely amazing. It’s exploding with flavors and the large bowl was a perfect amount. Really good food overall and service. The only thing that I would change is being able to change the tip amount. I don’t have a problem tipping as I work in the service industry myself but would have loved to give cash as a tip rather than the 18% already added on. I personally just appreciate it more when I am given cash.
