We had a fantastic meal here. The bread was as amazing as the service. Our server was amazing and I really enjoyed the pastrami sandwich. The other half of my sandwich was even really good the next day. The potato salad was great, it was somewhere in between northern and southern.

Very cool atmosphere — we didn’t have time to eat there- just were getting “to-go” coffee but the woman that waited on us was so nice.
While we were there we noticed they sold homemade bread and bought a loaf. Oh.my.gosh–SO good!

The place is nice and the service is good, staff is friendly. We’ve beem here a few time and the food is okay. It can be hit or miss. The pastas are good, so are the flat bread pizzas. Sandwich flavors are good, the bread was very hard in one experience and one time the potatoes very very under done. But overall an okay place.

Shared a great lunch with my wife today at the Broken Rocks Café & Bakery in downtown Wooster Ohio. We had a nice table up front with a outside view. My wife had the Shrimp and Polenta special which she raved about. I had a peach glazed pork chop special with red potatoes and veggies which as also delicious. The place was packed as it was prime lunch hour, plus a tour bus full of visitors was also seated. Despite this, our meal came out in a timely manner. Our server was friendly and attentive. 5 Stars!

This is a cool old joint, and folks all around said I should try dropping in…glad I did. Service was friendly and helpful w the menu. Had a pretty light lunch, and have to say that the mussels were fantastic…complex and savory broth that had to be finished to the last drop. I would have liked a little more of the delicious, delicious and tart salad for the price point…but that’s just me. Love to see a space like this keeping on keep’n on.

If you don’t like flavor, this place is perfect. The best and most flavorful part of our meal was the bread and olive oil. The roast beef sandwich comes cold and un-toasted, a perfect accent to the flavorless beef and lackluster spreads. The sides are small and just as flavorless as the mains. We also had the mussels and pasta which were ok, but not worth the price. Be prepared to pay big prices for small portions. The only redeeming part of this restaurant is the service, they were very friendly, available, and attentive for a busy Saturday night. Overall, prepare to leave hungry and disappointed with a plan to get second dinner. We would not recommend and have no interest in giving them a second chance.

Took my mother out for lunch here to try for the first time. She orders pulled pork with roasted potatoes. Pork was all dried out and hard. The potatoes were plain red skins that were served whole and did not look roasted at all. I ordered crab cakes and a chicken salad. Crab cakes were good but nothing to rave about but I have vacationed many times in New England so my expectations are a little different with seafood. The salad was very disappointing. The chicken was very dry. The items that were suppose to be in the salad looked as if everything was measured out with a small spoon. The server was wonderful. They did have good bread! Not worth $51 though. This is my experience. Don’t let my opinion take away from you trying it
