Outstanding dining experience!
Our first time while visiting Columbia, we came for dinner around 5 and couldn’t help to notice the place was darn near filled up and getting busier by the minute. We waited less than 10 min though and the hostess was very kind & professional. Once sat my first question was regarding my seafood allergy, would there be any issues? Our waitress Karlie assured me that I was free to eat anything on the menu except the Herring salad. She checked with the kitchen & owner and reassured me I was good to go!
I had the Schwein Schnitzel (pork) with double home fries( pictured). My wife had the White Jager Schnitzel (pork) with spätzel & red cabbage. Both entree’s were excellent with good portion sizes. If you like German beers, they have a nice selection too.
Our waitress was amazing, checking back with us frequently. We were stuffed, had to take the rest of our meal home. I’ll have it for lunch tomorrow.

Amazing german restaurant. Best in the area and one of the best I have been to. We tried the cheesy Jager Schnitzel, Zueger Shnitzel, Beef Rouladen, spatzle, potato salad, potato pancakes, red cabbage, and german house salad. Everything is on point and all paired well with a couple schwarzbiers. The schnitzel are huge!

Service was great. Staff was nice and one of them was from Germany and gave us tips on our upcoming trip. I will definitely be returning to try a few thinks I haven’t and probably a few that I have. I wish I took more pics.

I would love to see Grünkohl mit Pinkel on the menu as well.

One of my favorite local places. Never disappoints. I especially love that they have a small plate for the pork schnitzel, which is the perfect portion for lunch (or anytime!) The red cabbage is warm and tasty every time as a side.

Delicious authentic food with friendly staff! Can tell there is pride in their food that is made fresh daily. They do seem to run out of items fairly early on a Saturday night and there is usually a wait but it is well worth it. Generous size portions as well.
We have been coming to Julia’s for years and very happy to see they now accept cards and not just cash for the last few years. And so glad they are now closer to our home on the NE side of town so more convenient.

Absolutely fell in love with this restaurant! I wasn’t sure how I was going to like everything, so I was pleasantly surprised when it was all amazing. Great flavors, outstanding service and the atmosphere was wonderful. The dessert was fantastic as well!

THE place for authentic schnitzel! You know a place is great when they have a small but elegant menu.

Service is always fast but never rushed. This is one of our favorite places to eat in cola!

Listen, my first time there and Candice gave me the red carpet. She explained and gave me samples of several food items. Everything was scrumptious.

So we traveled to Columbia from Mt Pleasant to check out Julias…
We were not disappointed.
The food was excellent. The service was good.. we got there when they 1st opened. Glad we did… by the time we left, there were people waiting for a table.
I think it was worth the trip.
Yes, drove over just to try it out…

Julia’s really took me back to when I used to be stationed in Germany as an Army soldier many years ago. The food was great and so was the service. I had Snitzel with egg and potato salad. There was a wait to be seated but it was worth it.

Always fun to go get German food. It’s si different from what we eat daily. They have a German salad that is so so good. I believe it comes with the meals but I got it as a side with some potato out and it was so yummy. Perfect for those that can’t have fried stuff or don’t want a heavy meal. I also tasted the pretzel! Oh my goodness – very good!
