We came in around 2:30 on New Year’s Day, as a party of 4. Despite arriving 30 minutes before close, the staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. A 5th member of our party joined around 2:45, which is honestly pushing it, yet the waitress showed no frustration, only kindness. We left with either empty plates or to go boxes — food was awesome with generous portions. I ordered the chicken & waffle with their housemade honey butter, with was phenomenal. I was also surprised at how delicious their iced caramel latte was. I’d argue the best one ive ever had. I’m not sure if they use a housemade caramel, but it was so creamy and delicious. I will absolutely return the next time I’m in town.

My first time here, and I was excited. Im a foodie and love going to diff brunch spots and know all the good ones. This was my least favorite.
-Atmosphere very cute and chic!
-Waiter was very kind and accommodating
-Food took very long, almost 40 min and it was a Thursday morning at 10ish and there were only 4 other tables.
-Food had no taste, and prices were crazy and unreasonable for side dishes.
-Meal was called Sunrise Breakfast

The serving size was portioned very well and we felt like we got our moneys worth. The grits were creamy and delicious. The hash browns were crunchy and creamy at the same time. All in all a pleasant experience.

Visiting from NYC in town for a Cowboys game. Great place. Food was delish. The restaurant is very clean and looks beautiful. The staff was superb. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful and helpful waiter, Jorge, we had a great experience and highly recommend it. I had the quesobirria omelette, which came with a yummy croissagel. The honey maple pecan pancakes were also .

Lac Blue Brunch Cafe was a mixed experience for me, based solely on my visit at the time. The biggest challenge was timing—it took nearly an hour for the food to come out, and unfortunately when it did arrive, it was cold.
That said, there are no hard feelings. I understand that off days happen, and I’m open to the idea that this may not be the norm. I would like to give the restaurant another shot, though I’ll be honest—once it feels like money has been wasted, it’s hard for me to return and spend more money.
Still, I don’t believe one visit defines a place. I encourage others to try Lac Blue Brunch Cafe for themselves and form their own opinion. This review reflects my experience only, and I’m hoping a future visit delivers a better outcome.
