First time going to Panda Garden in Charles Town. The restaurant was easily accessible from Route 9. The food was fantastic!

I ordered from grubhub the szechuan chicken. The flavor is perfect, the seasonings great, just the right amount of heat. But the ratio is 5-1, 5 parts onions, 1 part chicken, with some carrot sticks thrown in. I wish they were a little more generous with the chicken, but the flavor is great.

Ordered take-out and it was a large lunch order. It was ready fairly quickly, which is a bonus for lunch. The orange chicken was dry and seemed overcooked and did not reheat well. My won tons in my soup were overcooked and gummy. A swing and a miss on this visit.

Portions were very small, barely any chicken in kung pao, heavy breaded with cornstarch, deep fried instead of traditional kung pao. And chicken and vegetables were deep fried and oil laden, made my wife sick. Look at that puddle of oil, yuck!

They say that a Chinese restaurant with 3-4 stars is exactly what you want to see and this place provides the experience you want. Extremely fast service, good food, large menu, decent price. There are some clowns in here leaving 1 star – I am just not seeing it.

Finally gave this place a try since it’s closer to where we live and it was a total let down. Had to throw away a whole order of combination lo mein because the shrimp tasted disgusting. It was so old and just because something is sitting in the freezer doesn’t mean it’s still good. The beef and broccoli ordered extra spicy wasn’t spicy and the broccoli was over cooked to the point of mush. Will not be ordering food here again.

Don’t be deceived by the photos. Vegetables are not fresh. The meat tastes weird. I don’t think they focus on fresh condiments, and they are overpriced for small portions.

I wanted to like this place so badly. It was awful. That’s all I can say. Undercooked egg foo young with horrible gravy. The “combo”fried rice had only an unidentifiable mystery meat (pale color, mealy texture, and a few tiny shrimp. Nothing like their pictures boast! The chow mein had no flavor. 90% cabbage. The only tasty thing we brought home was the egg rolls. They looked nothing like the photos but actually taste ok. Just a nasty meal overall. We’ve got 4 containers full in the trash.

We ordered take out chicken sweet & sour Sesame beef egg rolls, beef on a stick. We did not get the sweet & sour sauce however the rest of the order was not good. I called to tell them our sauce was missing they said sorry but we would have to drive all the way back there to retrieve it no credit or refund. I REPLYED WE WILL NOT BE BACK.
